HI, great review. What I cant understand is how you can have a power control function but without a regulator - surely the power adjuster is a variable regulator
@airbrosreviewsa Жыл бұрын
Thanks so much my friend, well the power wheel adjuster is a transfer port restrictor, restricting the air flow intern making it faster or slow in speeds depending on how you set it.

@@airbrosreviewsa So a simple regulator ??
@MrSatelit2828 күн бұрын
@@keithduffield5239 I know it's been a year since you asked, but that question bothered me too, so here's the answer, in case anyone else has the same dilemma. The ideal for any gun is to deliver consistent power for every shot. That is the job of a regulator. In unregulated gun which have the adjustable power you can make up for the lack of a regulator. For example, you can start on medium power and then gradually increase the power as the tank empties. This allows you to output consistent power (with some practice) and therefore a consistent point of impact. The power wheel is essentially used like a manual regulator. Difference is that with adjustable power you still have a power curve going down as tanks emptying, which you don't have in a regulated PCP (just constant power). If you have the choice, choosing a regulated gun is much better option.

@@MrSatelit28I'm pretty sure your comment is what brought this to my feed so thanks and your answer is spot on although a regulator is usually best in larger calibers unregulated works wonders for hunting because well your only going to take a few shots .. I couldn't imagine my Zeus regulated and still making 1800 fpe without breaking the regulator or the valve spring ...

Hi wat about hatsan galatin????show this airgun tanks
@edspcpsandracing24 күн бұрын
Hatsan is so unreliable and has so many quality control issues you're better off going for their flagship blitz. They do have a few big bore guns that have proven solid but after my last 3 Hatsan's I'm done with them 😂 bought the invader and the semi auto function went out on it and I had to fight tooth and nail to get them to warranty it out. Bought the jet 2 and not only did it leak air but the barrel was so far off from the threaded shroud that the pellets were clipping the moderator and I had to fight again to get them to fix it, they actually told me I should bore out my moderator 😂 like it's a .25 gun the mod is for .25 and .30 how much more should I drill it out... So far so good on my blitz but it took over a month to get it after I ordered it.
