Fantastic! I regularly recommend both of your reviews for newbies wanting to know about the different types of airbrush! I go back and review these videos about every 2 months myself. I would like to see more reviews on other airbrushes like the Hansa 281/381 the Grex TS2 or TS3, the KKmoon, etc.

Great video - however I would like to point out the needles & nozzles in the Procon Boy PS270 and PS289 are interchangeable. i.e. get a spare PS289 nozzle and needle set and a PS270 brush and have the best value / quality airbrush on the market :-)

Anybody in the know, already knows, get a TALON and an IWATA......and the parts are available over the counter or Amazon...and the TALON has three sizes of interchangeable tips.....switch sizes in a minute! BUT the IWATAs are so darn good, they bring tears to your eyes, and warm your heart!

For the studio, we've decided to go with GSI Creos as a main airbrush. Same quality as Iwata but no tears because they are half the price. Talon - yes, convenient with four available nozzle sets. We like it a lot. H&S is much more expensive but it also comes with four nozzle options and they are much easier to replace (self-centering without threads).

Have had a Talon for 10 years. It works great BUT it clogs very easily and the nozzles tend to flute/crack with regular use. Going to keep mine as a back up and get a Creos or Eclipse as a primary.

Great video, thanks! Which one do you suggest for 1/24 car bodies? I was thinking Iwata Eclipse HP-CS with 0.5 mm tip or H&S Evolution with 0.4 mm tip.

Thank you! HP-CS is 0.3 or 0.35, not 0.5m. There is a BCS in Eclipse series with 0.5mm but GSI Creos 0.5mm will be a smarter investment because of the price difference and same quality. H&S Evolution is a great airbrush but their standard air cap gives a heavy spray. Infinity air cap, which comes standard on Evolution CR is a much better choice.

@@AirbrushStudio you can swap out the nozzle set and needle on the CS with the BCS's setup. There's a lot of standardisation in the Eclipse range.

Glad I found your video. I have been using (trying to use) a Paache H1 brush for years. I never have been able to really get it to perform details like I need it to. (My hobby is taxidermy which does require some fine like spraying) Recently I fought this thing tooth and nail trying to get it to spray. It doesn't seem to want to take the paint from the cup to the tip most of the time and I am ready to throw it in the trash! I bought a used Paache Millennium brush from a guy going out of the business. I got it to work but only at full output and way to wide of a spray pattern. Do you have any videos on how to use this air brush? I watched a guy use a Iwata HP BC. I know he is a master with the brush but if I could just get it to do what I want I would seriously think about buying this model despite the over $300.00 price tag. What is your opinion? Is it worth it? How does it compare to say the Badger Chrome? Thanks for your time.

It would be useful to have some budget comparisons like the Masters G22 in here to understand how they perform next to professional level equipment. People often talk about how much better uplevel stuff is, but proof seems to be in short supply.

Can't make the decision for you ;) ones would work: GSI PS289 - superb spray and high built quality. H&S Evolution Silverline 2in1: genius design, easiest to clean and assemble. Most universal when purchased in a set. GREX Genesis - classic double action for those who are looking for additional comfort. Soft handle and trigger pad. GREX Tritium - pistol grip version for those who have trouble with the classic trigger. You should be happy with any of these and they all have their strong points as I tried to mention.

They both pretty predictable. Talon has a little less metal scratching feel when trigger pulled back with is a good thing. No experience with DAGR yet. We will make a video as soon as we get it in our studio.

None of these will fit, but GSI offers 15ml and 50ml metal cups for this airbrush.

The Badger 105 is the best brush I have ever used, it's an all around work horse. No clogging, easy cleaning and the price is right.

"Price is right" In the USA perhaps. Not elsewhere. That kills the deal/incentive. Not anti-Badger BTW, I own two Badgers and an Omni.

I would like to see a video on paache H, Iwata media eclipse, Grex Genesis xgi3, Raptor RG-3S and Badger Sotar, and Badger RK-1, because I am looking for a good airbrush to start miniatures and building and painting models !!!

Lol why would you use the .4 in the harder and Steinbeck for a shading test. the .4 is for base coats and thicker paints that's why they are sold with the .2 and the two in one has both the .2 and .4 not a real good comparison bro. For the money harder and Steinbeck is more airbrush then anyone could hope for but it does have a longer learning curve because of the amount of control you get. But is worth it in the long run.

We're comparing all airbrushes in the same conditions. If you look closer, there are more elements than shades. Lines, dots. Not all the H&S sold with 2 nozzle sets. And not all the nozzle sets deliver the same result. 0.4mm with evolution air cap is very different from 0.4mm fine line (Infinity) air cap.
