Thanks for this video. I’m heading over to Amazon to get some gear!

Great video! Did you use regular paint thinner? Did you clear coat it? Do you think you can use regular touch up paint and thin it out or it’s better to buy real paint? Thanks in advance.

Hi I used the gun cleaner thinner. I don’t see why you couldn’t thin down touch up paint but it would work out quite an expensive way to do it I would think.

Great video I've been thinking about trying this, but figured with no videos online that maybe it wouldn't work

Hope you find it as effective as we do.

What do you use to thin the paint?
@ExploreVanUK9 ай бұрын
Hi, any cellulose thinner will do the job but we usually use the gun wash. amzn.to/3s6qqXZ

Now why the hell didn’t I think of this! Great idea. I too have an older moho with stonechips etc. I’m having one of those! Is it better to use water based paints?
@ExploreVanUK2 ай бұрын
Glad it was helpful! I use standard (what I presume is cellulose based) paint.

Nice video. Your paint seemed far too thin on the paper demo. Also, do not use nylon brushes on the internals of your airbrush. They are terrible and will cause damage. Any idea where I can get a colour match for my Ford Focus?
@ExploreVanUK3 ай бұрын
Hi, yeah the paper demo was just using water colour paint so I didn’t have to do a full clean after using cellulose based. Thanks for the tip on nylon brush. I’ve used a few places for colour match, if I remember correctly XtremeAuto on eBay was who I used last.

Just came across your video, very good. Did you have to use a separate clear coat or was it all in one with the paint? Also where did you buy the paint from. Cheers.
@ExploreVanUK7 ай бұрын
Hi, mine didn't need a separate clearcoat, but if yours is metalic or pearlescent it may need it. I get my paint from AutoPaintSupplies on Ebay
