It fascinates me to watch someone with artistic talent, I've wanted to do airbrushing ever since I was a kid. I happen to be one of those people with no talent for artistry. But I love to watch. Great job.

Learn the basics, practice. Use references. You can be self taught mate, it might not come naturally- but you can create art which eventually will become better than amateur. Just keep at it. Same as anything really.

Excellent work. I would say the 13 is shaded in reverse. Light is coming from top right, therefore the 13 should grade darker on the left. Still great, though
@louisliguore71992 жыл бұрын
Another great video, thanks for doing them. When you are detailing in the video it appears that you hold the airbrush at an angle to the artwork, if that is true, what is the angle? I try to paint perpendicular to the surface, and I get a lot of splatter.
@michaeldeslippe8054 Жыл бұрын
Three quick questions: 1) what template did you use for the background pattern, and, 2. did you airbrush the Paynes Gray, brush it or roll it? and 3. did you use the Paynes Gray from a tube, bottle or some other mix (brand?). Your tutorial is great I'm planning on trying this one to get my hands dirty for detailed artwork. I've been watching dozens, perhaps hundreds of videos on airbrush artwork. Many are great, even terrific, but none has your very eloquent and thoughtful presentation and this one caught my interest as so complete I can try it to get a finished product. I figure a couple dozen scraps before I can produce something acceptable, so I'll start on artists paper and move to canvas when I'm sure I can complete the piece.
@mrmorgan47304 жыл бұрын
Not hating.. Over all this is a good piece.. Just one thing,, the light source on the hat is coming from two ways,, down the right side on the hat,, then on the left side of the number.. but where your light should hit the number 3 you put shade.. little things I know.. keep up the good work..

I’m Loving your artworks and your lessons. You’re very inspiring however I don’t even know if I want to start airbrushing. It would be perfect to try before buying everything. I have a question, I saw that you need to change color pretty often. How do you manage that? Do you clean every single time the airbrush (for example needing white) or do you use more than one? How long did this take in real time? Thank you
@jhildebrand329 Жыл бұрын
What airbrush do you use. I ordered a Iwata cs Medea. I think that'll be good, but I'm not an expert. I'm also very interested in painting my m/c helmet. Yje videos I have found are using large automotive sprayers. Very impressed with your work.
