almost 50 years ago i lived on the islands for a year as a kid -we flew in at Vaga a couple of times from Denmark - it seems (and a sure hope so) that the entrance to the Islands is from - anther angle - i seem to remember flying in between two mountains ? and i can assure you - it was a bumby flight . i love the ilands .

North to the Faroes! ... the bright lights of the north Atlantic. The islands only have a population of around 50,000, but I think Tórshavn (capital) and the surrounding islands would be an interesting place to visit - but wrap up warm. 🥶

Great vlog as always! Before the rwy was made longer Mærsk air flew here with the 737-200, and the rwy was 1250m or 3750ft! They had weight limits yes. Is it in this video you hear the reason for why pax use the fwd right hand door?
