its the same with most big airliners, I'm sure you could do the same with a 767. BTW the I'm pretty sure that not only did the A300's vertical stabiliser exceed the minimum strength criteria, but actually ended up stronger than what was originally thought. The problem is that the a300-600 rudder pedals were particularly sensitive at medium/high speeds, but thats no excuse for 4 rudder reversals

I think it's because may be there is an emergecy landing, or an accident and this way if they receive a shock the helmet helps! And if they get lost the orange suit make the rescue activity easier.

TheQuadSquad A350 had not flown when this video was put together... A320NEO is just a version of the A320.. same as this video didnt included the first flight of the A340-600.. at the time it was the longest comertial plane ever made... but i guess they consider it just another version of the 340 family
