This was the closest thing to sitting in a jump seat on a transatlantic flight that I have ever seen. The incredible shots of the flight, the instrumentation and the controls, along with the excellent audio provided a moment by moment experience of flying a 747 over the Atlantic. The pilots on this flight demonstrated their incredible knowledge of their craft through their professionalism, their narrative, and their personal stories. I can only imagine the number of young people that will be inspired to not only become a pilot but to become a pilot with the professionalism of Dany and Adrian. I did become a pilot myself and can only imagine the knowledge that could be learned from both of these top notch pilots. Just an excellent job, not much more to say. Thank you for this!!

Excellent, as ALWAYS, Patrick! WAMOS is so First Class...end to end. I loved this trip and the great crew. These guys are the most relaxed 74 crew I've ever seen. Captain Danny is a genuine master that makes it look easy...his CRM style is smooth as glass. Much can be learned by taking this long flight to Punta Cana. Loved the camera work too...placements, selected clips, post, etc. I especially liked the lower screen perfect leading edge layout with instrumentation and cockpit views center. Keep it going Patrick...this might turn into a real gig for you!

If you jump from the beginning to the end, you can see the difference in their faces, esp the eyes. They are a bit tired. Staying at the top of your form and focusing in a stressful environment for that many hours takes something out of you. These are special people. Professionals.

This airline brought stranded passengers from Wuhan back to UK this time last year. In a 747 too. You guys are heroes.
@n1msu2 жыл бұрын
A year later, I realise I forgot to explain how I know this. When COVID started getting serious and Brits (I'm from England/Britain) stuck in Wuhan and China were rushed out via charter planes, that landed in air force bases in England. Flight times were shared by news outlets such as BBC, along with this I own the flight radar app and seeing a vamos 747 arriving at RAF Brize Norton isn't something you'd ever see usually!

This is cool.The pilots sound human,not robotic,but they still do everything by the book from start to finish.Very professional.Thoroughly enjoyed! I love the chrome trim on the leading edge of the engines.That looks neat! Why were the passengers clapping on landing?Was it an inaugural flight or just genuine appreciation of a seamlessly smooth one?Because it didn't look rough to me!Or was it because it was being documented?

HOW many people? That’s incredible! The seats had to be jammed on that bird. Even factoring in a crew complement of 16-20, that’s over 100 seats more than a 747 configuration of any of the legacy carriers had in the USA!!

I can’t believe that EC-KSM has been scrapped. In 2008 Pullmantur air bought this 744 from Singapore Airlines what a clever purchase . I retired with the last 747 (British Airways) as well. Aviation is never going to be the same without the queen of the sky

A long time ago, I flew across the Pacific on a 747-100 configured as max capacity. There was minimal leg room and the seats barely tilted back. The plane was so heavy it had to re-fuel in Seattle, Anchorage, and Seoul before arriving at destination. It was the longest, most grueling flight in my experience. Saved a bundle, lol.
