"Coffee is good to go for the mission?" "Coffe's good." "There we go." :D Thank you guys for taking us along the ride. Professional is expected but with a smile on top makes it's that little extra that makes it so fun and rewarding to watch. The filming and editing is top notch. Gotta love Luftwaffe, the A400M and AirClips. Kudos, job well done.

Apart from observing a perfect technical phase in flight and refueling, the perfect CRM ( Cockpit Resources Management ) carried out by the pilot in command can be observed. Always encouraging the co-pilot and above all, asking for things with a "please"....excellent flight.

I used to sit back in my boat and watch taking off from any military base there always on time, especially in the United States I live by MacDill Air Force Base Central Command and the where are refuelers landing and taking off and how big they are and I think they're C35 Hercules And those are jet engines not prop jobs but we see a lot of C-130 props coming and going beautiful aircraft and big it just wonder how they fly.

AirClips! This is absolutely a 'top shelf' production! I have only recently found your channel and I am hooked. The efforts that your team puts into capturing top-quality camera angles, clearly and with precision, I find, far exceed the majority of other channels that I have ever seen. The cooperation and display of professionalism from the crews that you highlight, make these videos both educational and entertaining! I admire the A400M, what a machine, and you have brought me along for an unforgettable flight, from the comfort of my man-cave! Thanks for investing your time, energy, resources, and expertise and sharing the result with me! God bless you and your team and the flight crews who share their passions, for my informative enjoyment! That 2h12min just flew by! . OUTSTANDING . . I am not a pilot nor in the army. I understood everything. the English is outstanding and clear and precise. I have just seen your youtube channel, you have my vote. congratulation

As a former aircraft tech, (USAF - long ago), I find it quite interesting to hear the pre-flight briefing, not only delivered in English, but altitude, airspeed and distances being mentioned in feet, knots and miles. But, I do understand that this is for the benefit of the viewers. Those living in countries that have bought into the metric system and have trouble with fractional dimensions are loath to anything expressed in inches, feet or Fahrenheit, etc. The USA is having a difficult time making the transition and I doubt that, in my lifetime, it will eventually give in to the metric system altogether. Just like the old analog instruments, where tapping on the gauges was customary in order to 'improve' the reading. To tell the truth, I don't like (detest really!) the look of digital instruments but, again, I am a product of another time in aviation.

Amazing program. At 17:44, the team esprit is obvious; these aviators know each other well. I think the tech specialist was a bit nervous with the camera, made the PIC smile. 46:58, "coffee is good to go for the mission... black." And I bet the coffee is delicious, given that Germans generally love good coffee. As I do. These aviators are tops. So super...

Beautiful aircraft, excellent crew, excellent refueling op. Love the A400M! I'm retired USAF medical CMSgt, 35 years. Have flown on the Super Constellation (C-121), the Starflifter (C-141), the Herc (older version) and the C-9 Nightingale Med Evac. Question: were those heavy steel bins added to set the center of gravity? Cheers to the German AF crews! Bob from Syracuse, NY
The steel bins were probably only there to get two Loadmasters on board, at least there is afaik no procedure stating any need for them. They are used usually for storage of loose items during the flight. So most likely they were empty when loading and added just for training purposes.
