Can't believe I've never seen this little doc before. Finding this was a pleasant surprise to say the least. It blows my mind that Special Operations Airmen don't get the credit that other SOF units do. You boys are amazing and your work and sacrifice means the world to us. My Great Grandpa was an Air Force. He was a vet an passes away last Christmas. I'm 16 years old and I think I wanna follow in his foot steps. He was a great man and id give anything to be a man like him.

Took out time to watch this to the very end, these guys don't get celebrated enough - Damn they're talented. Green Berets, Marine Recon, SEALs get all the Hollywood shine. - rarely them. They seem to have the best kept secret job in the Military's SOF arsenal. Folks looking to join the SOF ranks seriously need to give AFSPECWAR careers a deeper look.

Went through training @ Eglin AFB! Made friends with many ground branch AFSOC STS, SOW. Great men and most difficult selection in all branches. I was at Thakur Ghar when it was ugly. Operation Anaconda.

My pararescue group were out of Hurlbert AFB. This is my favorite place on the planet. Ft. Walton Beach, is awesome. Special OPS is the first building on the right side as you go through the gate off the highway. I have not been on the base since 94 so I guess it is still a home for SPEC OPS.

SERE is not an actual combat unit. It's a training school for SOF.
