Good video, I'd like to see one on HF airbands as well. I've anyways wondered on those how they choose the frequency, as a friend of mine is a flight dispatcher and sometimes contacts pilots on HF.

Hey great to find another Montrealer by chance on the KZbins. I'm at the foot of the mountain playing with a digital scanner and SDR, and hunting for airbands in 118Mhz-136Mhz with some moderate success. I have a 2m/70cm Diamond X-50, (not great for airbands) and I'm at the foot of the mountain in Montreal. I'm looking to build/buy an antenna to target those frequencies, what are you using?
