Made the 12 Hour round trip to see her at Preswick Scotland! the chance doesnt come round very often so had to make the trip!! I chose a safe spot to film her as I didnt have time to recce the area and the wind didnt help the audio.
On Sunday 2nd Aug, the world’s biggest cargo plane, the Antonov An-225 Mriya, landed at Glasgow’s Prestwick (PIK) airport in Scotland.
hundreds gathered to watch the aircraft land at 2:49 p.m. on Sunday. The aircraft, powered by six Ivchenko Progress Lotarev D-18T turbofan engines, called in at Prestwick to refuel on its journey from Bangor, Maine (BGR) in the U.S., to Châteauroux (CHR) in France.

I saw an AN225 land once. It looked like it was flying so slow due to its size. I've seen the AN124 several times. You can bet the crew loaded up with supplies from Walmart, Sam's Club, and Best Buy before departing the United States. They always do. They love to buy electronics, especially cell phones. I imagine they make a lot of money reselling them.

I got to see the 124 at several airfields in Afghanistan and I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. They even tried, unsuccessfully, to load an MI-17 helicopter into one. Getting to see the 225 in person would be awesome.
