A bit left out but what you covered was nicely done. You should always take the chance to support checklist usage, even single pilot. It's the difference between the pros and the wanna bees!

Seems like it's up to the operator as to their SOPs. My university has one of these and the SOPs for it are slightly different.

runway requirement is specified as about 3000feet but how little can it actually take off from? if it's not fully loaded, typical configuration, how much runway does it actually use?

I would like to ask if the phenom 100 and the phenom 300 have a natural feeling on the controls. To be more specific, does it feel like flying a traditional airplane or like flying an Airbus?
@jetAVIVA3 жыл бұрын
Hello! We feel that it is more like flying a traditional aircraft. Feel free to email sales@jetaviva.com and our Phenom expert can go into a little more detail for you! Thanks!

Ideas for getting it under a 14ft Hangar door? Modify Aircraft Caddy to raise nose wheel a foot off the ground? Any way to make the main gear struts squat?
@jetAVIVA3 жыл бұрын
From Embraer tech rep: While none of the suggestions are recommended. Flattening the struts would require immediate re-servicing once the aircraft is inside the hanger. The struts should not remain deflated for too long as it could cause internal damages. Raising the nose beyond the recommended limit could also pose an issue to cause the aircraft to tail over. In our GSE info it illustrates and specifies to raise the wheel just high enough to clear the terrain.

Why does the before T/O checklist have you turn the flight directors OFF ?
@jetAVIVA3 жыл бұрын
Per Embraer, that's not on the take off checklist
@savagecub3 жыл бұрын
@@jetAVIVA You’re right it’s actually on the Take Off checklist - which I find even more baffling. Embraer expects you to do a raw data T/O in IMC conditions ??? Is there some other checklist that directs you to turn it on ?

4:06 so the wings are not heated? I kind of alwasy associated boots with the color black. Is it different in this case?
@jetAVIVA4 жыл бұрын
Correct, the wing is de-iced via a boot. It is grey for aesthetics.

You'll probably have to ask someone on X-Plane's page.

what is the typicall cruise speed at maximum fligth level ?

oscar C at max cruise altitude of FL410, the jet will cruise around 350KTAS. You’ll see the fastest speeds of around 390KTAS in the FL330-360 altitude.

Plane is super classy; however, not a fan of the bicycle yoke..

Interesting. I like a stick better, but I've liked these yokes since Aero Commanders had 'em. I think MU-2s, too. There's a yoke for everyone, I'm sure.

Interesting video, but whatever you were doing that had the panel rolling left and right is annoying. From the pilot's perspective the panel doesn't move, the outside world does. Please, no gimbals or "stabilization" making the part that shouldn't be moving move!

The engines are super small... I'm looking for a fun plane to fly. I have a sr20 and I love it but I want a jet.
@jetAVIVA6 жыл бұрын
Aero Aviation the engines may appear small, but they pack a punch and are efficient! 1700lbs of jet thrust per engine makes this a fun jet to fly for sure. Send us a note at sales@jetaviva.com and we can help make those jet dreams come true. We deal with Cirrus upgrades all the time.
