Airedales are Airedales and just love chewing sticks. All my Airedales did the same, especially Rafiki. Even if the sticks were out of reach, he would make it his business to pull tree branches down and snap them off! You have to watch them with sticks though because they can get cut gums, or end up choking on fragments of stick. Raffi did this a few times, but he was fine because I managed to get the stick out!

My Airedale Howard, OH GOOD GRIEF, haha what a problem child. I love him to pieces, as I love all 5 of my dogs. BUT he is very high maintenance and has to be supervised at all times. He walks with his nose to the ground and is like a Hoover, tube socks, dish rags, gloves, chunky hair ties! You name it is is swallowed in SECONDS. I HAVE PULLED THINGS OUT OF HIS THROAT. BARELY GRASPING THE EDGE OF WHATEVER IT IS before it goes to the unknown. It looks like a magician doing a scarf trick. His other favorite trick is to wait until I am walking away to jump on my back and face plant me, then laugh. Ya he thinks he is a real comedian 🤡😏

Impressive Airedale and beautiful countryside .However, just to add a word of warning concerning the throwing of sticks for dogs ... I knew a lovely female brindle Boxer dog who actually ended up being impaled by a stick that her owner had thrown . The stick landed and stuck out of the ground at an angle , the dog then arrived at speed and the stick went into the dog's open mouth and pierced the back of the poor dog's throat and went right through the dog's neck . Thankfully the dog's life was saved after she was put through a speedily performed operation and took a course of antibiotics but I urge owners to exercise caution where the throwing of sticks or other dangerous objects is concerned.

Last two dogs I had were Airedales. I don't rate my dogs--all of them were different, but Airedales are definitely unique. Max, my male was especially unique--all the vets at A&M loved him while he was recovering from heart surgery--he lived five more years. He was, in addition to a stick dog, a shoe eater, and lady's crotcher.

Лучше Эрдели породы нет! Умная, красивая ,абсолютно нет дома шерсти. Сейчас у меня Бигль. Я его очень люблю, но эрдельтерьер это эрдельтерьер!!!

Wiener Stern Бигль хороший, ласковый Коломна, но от него не знаешь чего ожидать, что прикажет его нос . Нос это главное. Но я его очень люблю

Yes seriously, it should be common sense to understand that dogs are not made to digest wood. it's not just one of the most common stomach/intestine issues, it's one of the most common issues period that vets have to deal with in dogs. You could easily discover that with simple research or by asking a vet. Or stay ignorant it's up to you. I stopped watching as soon as I saw her letting her dog do it. As far as I'm concerned she's an unfit dog owner and same to you if you do the same
