I am getting this edition of the Sea King as either a birthday or Christmas present next week. Before watching your build, I was going to go down the all-green option, but this has put doubt in my mind, I think to approach it like you have I might get a good result. It’s certainly a stunning scheme, thank you very much for sharing it.

That's great 👍 Yeah a tougher scheme but satisfying when finished. You'll get a good result, at first I was going to mask it all at once but small sections is much easier and less to go wrong I think. Good luck on your build and thank you for watching 🎅

Nice! When I did mine, I did a white basecoat and the green on top. I figured it would be easier than applying a light colour over a dark. Mine turned out OK. 😁

These really elaborate camouflages are my favorite, but yah they are so difficult and time consuming to do. Great job!

I think it's up there, parts all fit pretty good, bit of fiddling when closing up the fuselage but I'd definitely recommend this kit. I knew the paint job would be a challenge but didn't expect it to take the time it did, got there eventually 😅

The round window towards the back, I wasnt sure if it was only the rounded part to stay clear or the whole thing. I couldn't quite tell from photos 🧐
