This is an amazing restoration/rebuild that is rarely seen or accomplished on such mass produced airplanes that have seen better days. Thanks for sharing your talent and video of the project with us. @8:00 you did a landing gear test. did you do any additional bleeding of air out of the system. it looks like it has some bubbles in it.. this is what i would think landing gear retraction should be.. but i could be wrong about your piper. could have too stretchy hoses.. imgur.com/gallery/V9hY40g i should mention i have been an automotive mechanic for 39 years.. when i have to bleed a hydraulic system like retractable tops on old fords.. i put a union where the cylinder connections are.. and allow the system to run for a few seconds without the cylinders.. this purges the air out of the high spots in the lines. i also have plugs for the cylinders.. so i can keep the cylinder plugged.. disconnect one plug and one end of the line at a time to connect it.. i loose almost no fluid when i do this..
