Airgun Hunting: Pigeon Hunt with the Benjamin Marauder

In this week's episode of Team Wild's Airpower, Steve Wild and Keith Anderson have been called to a local farm, to give buddy Big Steve from SPD Pest Control a helping hand in ridding the area of its pesky pigeons. Being a regular presence on this patch, Big Steve has kept on top of the population, but a few stragglers remain. The boys, armed with the Benjamin Marauder, are only too happy to help in taking out the final few.

Vanessa, and don't mention the kids tracking all through the droppings, getting them on their hands, etc. There's been a lot of renovation/construction in the local city center, and apparently it's dislodged huge numbers of these sky-rats out to the suburbs. The first 4 years or so of living here, I almost never saw a pigeon. Now, the last two years, my house is jammed, nests on ledges, crap all over the patio/driveway and my truck. I snipe as many of these filthy things as I can.

Used to shoot in barns with my 22, Remember seeing a dove often in its nest in the barn missed it several times,then got it days later, Strange it was sitting on a mumified chick! they make a severe mess. Barn was rife with bird crap.

We keep the settings the same here in America, I've shot my friends M-Rod several times with no adjustments to power. I was wondering though due to the roof's in the livestock area did they lower it so it doesn't cause any damage.

If you listen to the shots it sounds like fartiing. Hammer is hitting twice and wasting air. I noticed it on my mrod so I added the bstaley to stop it. Power curve is better as well. I also regged mine. If you boys need the rings for the mod drop me a line. I have plenty and I'm in notts. ill post them or a heavier hammer spring to stop the air waste
