Rick, Thank you for bringing up your concern. They are a lot of people who spend a day at the field carrying heavy air rifles and getting fatigue. A lighter air rifle as the avenger with just 6 lbs (w/o scope) is perfect to use especially for those long walks at the field. For me in particular is perfect with the plastic stock. What do you expect for $299? That's a minor thing fort all the outstanding things that the avenger has if is compared to the main expensive brands and still ending paying a lot of money to add more money to get it shooting right, but nobody complains...that's funny. The funny thing, every body that makes the reviews mention the plastic stock as an negative thing. Other thing it has the name of Air Ventury...But is a Chinese Made Air Rifle, now all those companies as Diana, Air Venturi, Umarex are adding Chinese made air rifles to their marketing sales with their names stamped on it. I am just wondering why? Apparently the Chinese companies are making something good, but no many people buying them because has a Chinese name. As you all see once the name is change to a known company then and only then..in most cases people are purchasing this air rifles...they are very affordable and quite accurate too with just a little more tuning. I have one Big Bore, FX, Brocock, Air Arms which they are expensive among them an AA FT-900 for Field Target competition and also a QB78 for field target and the QB's are as much accurate as the FT-900 of course with a little tuning. I am missing a .20 cal in my collection. But at the end every air rifle the owers are always adding or replacing parts and making adjustments. Everybody should be looking for shot count and weight, (that's my personal opinion) the tuning and extra parts comes along if is need it, otherwise they can leave it as it came out of factory. As per today I have not see the perfect pneumatic air gun yet. Thank you for your honest review. May god bless you.

I have been wanting a Nova Vista Liberty in .25 forever. I have them in .177 and .22. They are amazingly accurate and adjustable. They are my favorite all around guns even over my higher end guns and shoot just as good. The Liberty .25 is out there but sadly not in the USA. The Avenger to me is basically a Liberty MK2 and will complete my lineup just fine. My goodness what a great gun for someone that wants higher end features without the higher end price. That hollow plastic sound is easy to fix and will be addressed when mine gets here 6-30. Sound deadening expanding foam should take care of it without adding weight. Thanks for the video take care God bless.

Great summary of the Avenger Rick!! I think Air Venturi's supplier should contact the supplier that provided Gamo with the pistol grip, adjustable comb, polymer stock Gamo has discontinued. The stock that was on the Whisper CFR, European Gamo Coyote, and many others. I "wood" assume an upgraded wood stock will be available if this rifle sells well. If these rifles are reliable, I'd buy each of these stocked configured rifles if priced at $349 and $399 respectively. Rick what do you think?
@1776adb4 жыл бұрын
For the most part faster, shorter flight time equates to more accuracy; less wind resistance, etc etc. I maxed it out and I can shoot bottle caps ( face down) at 50 plus yards with ease.

Rick...I will have this gun on my front porch by the end of the week...finally... what would be the best regulator pressure to start with if i want to shoot JSB Hades 25.39s at or very near 900 fps? My Bullboss wasnt regulated and it was very accurate out to 50 yards for the first magazine but after that it dropped fast. I understand your perspective on unregulated guns and there my friend we differ greatly...no biggie...thats what makes the world interesting. With all that said...I'm using this gun for hunting and thats it. My fun gun is a SK-19 in .22 and i have a few Nova Vista Liberty's in .177 and .22 which they are amazing for what they cost.... so this gun isn't that different from them I would think...Basically a Nova Vista Liberty MK2...BUT I don't know that for sure. To me it completes my nova vist collection and replaces my .25 Bullboss that I gifted to my youngest son. He loves it and it is doing well for him. What do you think would be a good regulator pressure to start with for the .25 JSB Hades sir? Do I leave it where the factory set it or do I adjust it. You have LIGHT YEARS more experiance in this area than I. I have only been into PCPs for a little over a year and I completly fell down the rabbit hole in love with them. Thank you for the video and all the hard work you do for us. God Bless you. Any advice you could give would be treasured.

923 FPS with a 33.95 grain pellet is impressive! That's 64.24 FPE. I've read elsewhere that the .25 shares the same internals with the .22, but this can't really be true based in the energy levels seen in this video. Or do you think this is a sample gun that has been optimized for energy and an off-the-shelf .25 will only produce 45 FPE?
@cthatcher854 жыл бұрын
Felix Winkler I was tuning mine today using the 33.95 MKII and with my reg @ 2900 and the hammer maxed out 5.5 turns in I was around 850 FPS. I’d be interested in hearing how he achieved 923.

If it had a wood stock you wouldn't want to scratch it on the field, synthetic stocks are made to hold up to the abuse imo
@AirGunWeb4 жыл бұрын
First off.. let me say that I LOVE the avenger for what it brings to the industry. An excellent option for PCP Shooters that want to tinker. Now to your point. I completely agree! I love a good synthetic stock, i.e. composite material, firm, ridged, etc. I'm NOT a fan of "plastic" stocks. So yes, plastics are synthetic, but those that have held a Crosman 760 pump master and say the Umarex Origin or Air Saber are going to know exactly what I'm talking about. Not only do I have my own .25 avenger, I bought all that I could afford for Airgun Pro Shop so we could have some to sell when they came out. Again, I love the gun and love what it brings to the table. But the stock is certainly "less than" in my personal opinion and I needed to make that point. Doesn't take away from the value or make me not want to shoot one though. Cheers AGW
