Katran - Regulator replacement

Hello… my Airmax Karan B air rifle pellet velocity extremely slow it drops to about 20yards..pressure on the gauge meter is 300 psi. Please suggest me how to fix.

Ok it’s not Altaros regulator.. it’s Airmax Katran Bottle regulator directly from the manufacturer. Issues emailed to Airmax and solved with Airmax. Thanks for your concern. By the way, I m impressed by your video on upgradation of Airmax Katran air rifle with your Altaros regulator.. m interested in Altaros regulator, how can I get one for my Airmax in India? any dealer in India?if not help me to get from your outlets.

@@unknownuse7259 thanks for the explanation. my point was that I can't physically imagine how this would happen with our type of regulator, as we have made tens of thousands of this type and it hasn't happened with any of them. Good vid. One question all bottel regualtor plenum is fix to the gun body with one small screw we see? It seems to me to weak for field use. Please let me know I´m pending of purchase only fot this doubt.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, I think there are 2 screws holding the plenum in the rifle but I can't remember that much

@@facatube yes, so I understood it correctly and I think that it is 2 screws which is enough, since there is no pressure, the pressure is only present when the shot is fired

Does this make the bottle stick out past the end of the shroud meaning some moderators won't fit?

the regular moderator will catch on. For the larger ones, a barrel moderator extension is supplied with the rifle and after this extension any moderator can be attached as before.

contact the rifle manufacturer. I don't even own this rifle and I don't know what the design of the pressure gauge and its sealing is.
