Great video, I’ve synthetic version and it’s superb, very accurate and not particularly pellet fussy either.

Good video! Especially using the some of the lesser known pellets. How about doing a Webley Mastiff next 👍🏾

Can you please make a comparative shot using Weihrauch HW100 vs HW110 for range more than 40ft please? Thanks for many pellet test you made, but I will stick for QYS since I have better grouping using this cheap pellet.

Is your range open ?, how many different types and makes of pellets are there, ? , 👍.
@airgunsniper-elite73854 жыл бұрын
Yes, our range has been open since the last weekend based on social distanceing. As far as pellets go, depending on choice of calibre .22 have more options, followed by .177, .25, .30 and above. This will include different brands and and designs, plus different head sizes within the different branded options. Probably over 100 different ones in .22, but by the time you get to .25 it will be down to as little as 10, but with different head sizes. JSB and H&N make the majority of pellets for other brands around the World as well at their factories, so most of the pellets will be either JSB or H&N designed for other brands. Now that PCPs are improving in power and accuracy output you are also able to purchase slugs, mainly in the US and Country's where power is not restricted, or where you have a firearm permit, but these are not as common as pellets yet with probably only three or four main suppliers who are starting to work with the airgun industry, but the one's that are, are all doing well, so far. H&N have had slugs for a while, but JSB have just made one. Others such as FX have had one designed for them (Hybrid slugs) and (Neilson Speciality Ammo) from the US are probably one of the most substantial slug makers so far with lots of options for big bore calibres up to .50 cal.

Batteries low in the FX chrono, or speed range setup?
@airgunsniper-elite73854 жыл бұрын
Looking back because the range of the Chrono comes in different velocity ranges, the 5.56 would have been going over the limit. I will do this test again with the Kral Breaker Jumbo and point out what was going on. By the time I had shot around 70 pellets the chrono was starting to read the results because the power was dropping. They must have been well over 800 feet per second initially.

You know something , I think your " taken " by that rifle , and to be fair ( having commented on first part )-I can understand why , it has just about everything you could want in a rifle , it would have been great to get it down the range and test it to 30mtrs + , and I hope in the future you be able to do so ... And here was me , sitting down , having left over chinese for breakfast and sipping ice cold diet coke ... saying to the mrs " those RWS superfields " " he'll chuck them in the bin after filming " .. JESUS ! I got that wrong. ....ive only tried them in .22 and were AWEFUL ... I only use them to shoot beer cans in the garden with my pp700 pistol ... like im going to after posting this ) go's too show , cheap isn't always nasty , together with the BSA Elite .. great for 20mtr + pest control .. up to what distance ? A trip to the range is required I think .. Kinda like that kral myself ( REALLY liked the one you showed a piccy of in first vid , forgot its name , gonna have to watch it again to find out ) Keep em coming , great veiwing ..

Yes, love the Kral Puncher Breaker. Probably one of the first outside of FX to make a big splash in the UK. I liked the look of it when I first saw it. John Kemp, one of our members purchased the black synthetic and it was one of the first to come into the UK through Range-right. He was lucky and had no barrel accuracy issues with his .177. The downside is the trigger straight off the shelf. I just can't understand why they don't set it to where it should be in the first place, as it is very easy to fix. This one must be around 1lb now instead of 6 or 7 Lbs. If I got one I would probably go for the synthetic Army green. Then again looking on the Kral web page they now have the Kral Empire. Looks gorgeous, but not sure if it's available in the UK yet. I am collecting a Kral Puncher Jumbo from Dave Palmer today, who tells me the trigger is also heavy on that as well, so another one to tweak. The jumbo comes with a shrouded barrel, but has quite a bark, so I think I'll fit a silencer if I use it in the back yard. I may get up early in the morning and take it to the range to test at longer ranges. Now the Kral Puncher Jumbo is a lovely rifle to look at in it's thumbhole stock and depending on where you buy from can be got for less than £540. Definitely value for money when you see how well made the walnut stock is. Steve Schally (AEAC) reviewed one early this year, or end of last and liked it. Side lever cocking with 2 mags in either 14 or 12 shots depending on .177 or .22. 10 shots in .25 if you want high power.

@@airgunsniper-elite7385 The kral " Empire " that's the one I was looking for ... as ive said previously , im not a big bullpup fan ... this looks ( to me anyway ) a SEMI bullpup .. the bantam sniper hr mould ... and I like it ... could it be another addition to my collection? Mmmmm ill have to wait and see the work situation , once all this malarkey's over ..

Why do people waste money on cheap crap when there is quality out there for not much more money.
@airgunsniper-elite73854 жыл бұрын
It's all down to how much you can aford to spend at the end of the day, what you like, and the best quality you can find for your money. If money was no option, then value budget guns wouldn't matter. Even the top quality rifles still come back with problems even when you are spending £1000s. Good warranty's and service will make all the difference and the second hand market also gives you options to buy more for you money. At the end of the day most problems are 0-ring related and cheap to sort out if you can get the rifle apart.
