Great video and info. Any chance of showing a video of how to set your balistic calculation please.
@airgunsniper-elite73858 ай бұрын
For each rifle, or rifle pellet combination, at the menu, choose "Reticle Zeroing". At the bottom of the reticle zeroing menu you will see the magnification, and next to that a letter. Each time you set up your rifle, or pellet combination, you pick a different letter. Once that has been saved, just go back to the letter that you saved too, for the rifle that you are going to shoot. It will remember the settings and original information for that rifle combination for that letter.

Hi, just wanted to say thanks for your informative videos and the details you continue to give. I bought the Reximex regime after watching your brilliant videos, thank you ! I'm looking at purchasing a Zulus sight but I'm unsure of who to approach, I've looked at Arken uk,,Arken optics UK and before I commit to £600, I need to be sure that the dealers are legitimate, can you please recommend a legitimate dealer. Charlie.

At the moment, they are available from the Arken link. They aren't available in the USA until next year, even though Arkes is a US brand. They are a legitimate company, though. Arkes have a UK distributer and global distributor, and I was asked by an American if they were available in the US yet. So I contacted Hittac/Arken, who told me that currently they were only shipping to the UK. You have to realise that Hittac only came out about 6 to 8 weeks ago. Their product did so well over here that the 1st batch of scopes had sold out in 2 weeks. I had to wait for the second batch, which by then was branded as Arken. The good news is that it was posted from a UK postage address, so I presume it's from the Arken UK distributer. When they were Hittac, they probably set up their export license for the UK, and it could be the reason the United States has to wait until 2024. If you check out the Arken website, you can see the information on when Arken purchased Hittac. So far, all the KZbin reviewers are from the UK, totalling around 8 reviewers so far, with a couple of UK shooting journalists to boot. I expect the scope will be available to buy from dealers in the UK eventuly, and probably by next year, but you have to remember how quick this has been. All I can say from the few weeks that I have been using it is that it's been an amazing scope and very well priced compared to the competition. If you check out my latest video, it shows how easy it is to hit targets up to a 1/2 inch spinner out to 62 yards with an 11.2 ft/lb PCP. You also have the choice for dial-in, where the centre of the reticle adjusts to target or holdover, where a read marker shows the holdover on the reticle.

I've had a quick play with my FX Chrono shooting JSB Hades, out the muzzle the power is 11.8 ftIbs and at 15 yards when shooting over the chrono it's lost 2ftIbs. Will like to try over a greater distance to see just how much and quick it drops off

Yes, if you can find a copy of the chairgun app, it will tell you about that. For reference, I set up my ballistic app for the Daystate Air Wolf shooting Daystate Hunters at 10.33 grains. It was averaging 11.2 ft/lbs at the muzzle. At 62 yards, I was consistently hitting a 1/2 inch spinner, and the Arken ballistic software came back with 6 ft/lbs. This will vary, though, depending on what pellet is used.

@@airgunsniper-elite7385 that's still pretty good. A loss of 50% at that distance is still good going in my eyes

Where did you go to enter the ballistics data?
@airgunsniper-elite738511 ай бұрын
Depending on your phone being android or apple, download an app called Arken Ballistics by pango, then just input your data, such as zero range, distance, too and from, increments such as yards or metres, pellet or bullet weight and ballistic coefficient. You then save it on the phone app. After this, you go to the scope menu and open up the ballistics icon. Open your phone app and choose the ballistics button. On the scope at the ballistics option, choose ballistic table. On the phone ballistic chart, you will see a paper plane at the top right of the chart. Click this, and the app uploads the data to the scope. All this, of course, is done through Bluetooth. From here, as long as you have your scope zeroed in, all you need to do is choose either hold over, or, dial in mode. The first press of the rangefinder gives you the range. The second press makes the ballistic adjustments. A long press brings you out of the lasered distance and resets to your initial zero. For me, this is working spot on out to 65 yards with 11.2 ft/lb rifles.after this, it tends to drop off.

26 different ballistic setups is probably enough for anyone. Can you give them names. Or is it a case of having to remember placement in the list? Could get a bit messy as different rifles, pellets and bullets mount up.
@airgunsniper-elite738510 ай бұрын
I've done a list on my computer and written them down for each rifle and pellet combination. I'm already at the letter "I"

great vids! 3 weeks and waiting on mine!! do you have the size from the center of the optic to the pic rail, trying to work out if i will need a riser rail to get correct hight thanks Mark
@anthonypullen938411 ай бұрын
I may be wrong ( if I am I'm sure someone will tell me) I think you need to measure the centre of the scope to the centre of the barrel.

hi ye , i was just wondering so i could work out if i needed a rail to get a good hight for me , all sorted as it arrived, Thanks for the reply though Mark @@anthonypullen9384

I don’t think you had your twist rate right mate. If it’s 1:17 you put 17 as that’s the inch rating per twist. As it currently is it’s 1:1 so a revolution every inch

Is it not pronounced Zulus as in Rorke's Drift
@airgunsniper-elite738511 ай бұрын
It's spelt like it, but everyone seems to be pronouncing with us on the end. It's probably like the Mitsubishi Starion, which should have been Mitsubishi Stallion.
