The best explanation of zeroing a rifle on KZbin. She's the best teacher

Lauren is a GREAT instructor! She can explain things that can be quite complex, but in a way that makes it much easier to understand, and in a way that doesn't make dummies (like ME), feel like she's talking down to us! AWESOME job again Lauren!!! 👍👍

You are an amazing instructor, Lauren! I'm 70 years old, have been shooting weapons since age 12 with open sights and never owned a scope. I just purchased my first air rifle which came with a scope, and I would have been better off to toss the scope instructions and go right to your video instead of reading them. Bravo!

Method 3 if its a First Focal Plane just read of the reticle how many min/mil you need to move each way .... again 3 shot zero. Beware beginners if you're not always firing perfect shots fire the tests in groups of 3 and adjust on the average. Great video and beautifully explained.

That’s an impressive method and your equipment is so cool. I am a new owner of a Crosman Fire nitro piston 1200fps air rifle. It’s primitive compared to urs, but I hv been extremely pleased with it’s performance. I am extremely anxious to improve my skills, as my groupings are tight, but I hv a lot to learn. Your video has been the most help. Thank you.

What is nice about MOA is ...at 100 yrds its 1 inch , at 75 yrds a MOA is 3/4 of a inch or .75 inch , at 50 yrds a MOA is 1/2 inch or .5 inch , at 25 yrds a MOA is 1/4 inch or .25 inch . At 200 yrds a MOA is 2 inches . Remember its a triangle the farther out you go the greater the distance . You learned this in math class from 6 th grade on . Happy holidays to all . Love and respect your family and neighbor 😇

AOA is great, I've purchased all my PCP's and accessories from you. So here is my question to you: I have my PCP .22 cal air rifle zeroed in at approx. 11 yards. However, when shooting target at approx. 14 yards, the shot groups are an inch high and a half inch to the right. I understand why the trajectory of the pellets are hitting higher, but I have no idea why they are hitting to the right. Any thoughts why they are to the right and how it can be corrected? Thanks
@retepeyahaled2961 Жыл бұрын
Good video. Just one addition: when I sight in a gun, the initial shots often are way off the charts. Therefore I start at ten yards and use a big sheet of (A4) paper with a simple dot drawn on the middle of it. Once I hit the dot, I basically proceed as you show us.
You are a beauty and beautifully explained thank you .greetings Portsmouth England .
