I have one and like it. It stays put on my 21 model seat without the elastic straps. I rigged up a short piece of parachute cord and a spring clip so I can safety tether it to the passenger hand grips. Can be instantly removed when needing to lock it up when leaving bike.

I've been thinking of add something like that to mine for some longer rides I have coming up. Usually after an hour riding I start to get a little sore. Not sure what's wrong with those guys not waving. I wave at everyone. Sometimes even the kids on scooters. haha Thanks for sharing.

Just started considering getting one of those. I've had my bike for about 7 weeks, 2500 miles, and the stock seat is not as good as my Ultimate was on my last two bikes. This time I want to go with a Russell Day Long, but have to wait until winter to do that, and I've got a trip to Colorado coming up. And so far, I'm surprised, I haven't noticed a decline in wavers since switching from Harley to Goldwing. Maybe it's the Midwest...

I have heard great things about the Russell Day Long and the Ultimate...I don’t hate the stock seat, but I like the idea of having the air hawk when the stock seat gets uncomfortable. We will see what happens in the future...thanks very much and congrats on the new Wing! Great bike!

Love mine. And I don't use the straps. When I go in a restaurant I put in my saddlebag. It stays in my saddlebag.

That's a great idea! My straps are tearing, so I will be doing that too. Thanks!

Interesting. I've seen several types of these and wondered if it was stable when corning and stuff. It's a shame (some) HD riders don't wave. I do believe the wave isn't brand exclusive. Be well friend.

Hi Jason Your going to find that Harley riders don't will wave at you. the funny thing is when Jim Rides his Kawasaki they wave at him. It looks like a Harley as you ride by. Thanks for sharing. The Airhawk.

@@JP1970 I do! Plenty of power and loads of fun. The only thing that is a bummer is the heat from the catty but i'll be doing some surgery on that this winter. Sitting at a stop when its warm out gets very toasty. The Air hawk is awesome though. Bought one per your video so thx for that. Stay safe!

I hear you, but I haven’t met too many stock seats that I liked all that much-I think the bike companies and the aftermarket companies are working together. 😎😎

Thanks for the review. I have thought about one of these...I just don’t want to be raised up anymore in the seat. Maybe if I got the seat shaved down a little it would work better.
@JP19703 жыл бұрын
Thanks! 😁
@JP19703 жыл бұрын
That is true...it does raise you up a tad. There is another company that makes them too, but I'm sure it will still raise you up a bit.

Hey JP, how do you attach it to the seat? Is it just floating ???? Its scary to me just having it laying free like this. The new GW seat is tricky to attach anything. This AH sounds good to me then re doing the whole seat.
@JP19703 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I keep it free fpr when I want to use it. There are straps to attach it, but, as you said, taking the seat on and off is a bit tricky. I think it will stay put with my butt on it. 😃 Definitely recommend! 😃

Hello. Great video. So how far was your longest ride with the air hawk? I have a 2021 GW Tour. I just did a 3 day 1500 mile trip down to the tail of the dragon from Pennsylvania. At mile 800 my ass was killing me.

This product is a gimmick. Like the waterbed of the 80's. We know how that worked out! It is the worst thing you can have on your seat because you float around, losing any stability in the saddle. Not only will you slide all over the place in the twisties but slow speed maneuvers are unsettling. If there were any viability to this concept, ever seat manufacturer would be using air instead of a solid material. The Butt Buffer on the other hand is the best product (by far) to enhance comfort. Buy one and get a Craig List account... you'll need it!

Tell me you are not sponsored without telling me you're sponsored 😂😂 #1 It is good to have options because what works for you might not work for others. #2 waterbeds have been out since the early 70's and have never been seen as a "gimmick" ( I bought my first one in 71) and #3 (you might want to sit down for this one)...There are numerous waterbeds manufacturers in production as of today ( 8/5/24) indeedthey have been innovated and are not your grandpa's bed of old but they rely on the same ole H2O concept for comfort. Take care😊
