Air Hawks are ok but they can't fix a really bad seat ( like the one on my NC750) The trick is to over inflate it a little and then sit on it. Then release the air valve to deflate it until you arse cheek just touches down on the saddle. As your body heat warms the air Hark the air inside will expand and lift you off the saddle and it will need to be deflated a little bit more. If you wobble as you sit on it let it down a bit more. I found that when I set off it was almost providing no padding but after twenty minutes or so it was ok.

also have you checked your suspension linkage for grease or lack of, the big thing at the moment on crosstourer bike forum, mine where dry and one needle bearing was completely shot at 22,000 miles
LOL!!! My seat hurts about 50 miles into the ride. I wear bicycle padded shorts to keep from getting numb bum, I stand up are every stop light to get some blood back to the boys. Double up for longer rides. I got the 2017 DCT new for $10k US full warranty, plus extended..great deal.

I tried the gel seat thing on my vfr years ago and with all these seat things is they build up heat and makes your arse sweat so got rid of it. I did the same painting my old gt ended up using a barrier paint then a primer and worked fine. See if you can get a Corbin seat off of fleabay

Hi buddy, just watched this about the airhawk. I've used one for quite a long time now and covered many miles. Personally I find it works better with the least amount of air in it you can get away with. Also in hot weather they do allow some air to pass around the crown jewels. To adjust the air in it whilst you are sat on the bike just open the zip and pull the valve out so you can let some air out. No you can't blow it up whilst sat on it. Ha! Ha!. Best wishes from Devon.

Hi pal.....I actually bought the wrong Airhawk...it was way too small....anyway when it broke I got a full refund and bought a custom seat which works a treat. Thank you for those kind words, Dave 👍

You should try the AirHawk2, it’s bigger and feels less “intrusive”.
