Ah, my favorite season finale of the series. DWK didn't really have much choice in the stills he used during Luna's speech at the end there since in the actual episode everyone was still recovering from being cocooned and she got cut off a few words in. But your interpretation makes it funnier.

“Muffin’s” name used to be Derpy. But then parents got angry so Hasbro changed it. (Unless That was an edit.)

IIRC she was always called Muffin. Derpyhooves is her fan name due to her 1st appearance, the Flash Animation glitched and made her eyes like that. There's even a running gag on it on a certain Phoenix Wright MLP Crossover fanfic here on KZbin that everytime a character (I forget who, either its Twilight or Phoenix) calls her name she gets offended because that isn't her name and proceeds to tell them a different name...this happens 3 times (I think) in the same scene and then loops back to the 1st name.

@@jled787 She was actually referred to as Derpy in "The Last Roundup" as a nod to the fans, but they edited it out on reruns and they've never referred to her by name since. The name "Muffins" only shows up in the credits. Also, Turnabout Storm is an absolute masterpiece.

That's NOT what happened. Parents didn't get angry. That is a HUGE misconception. No parent EVER complained. Ever. Parents didn't give a shit and none of them knew the difference or what that was about. Parents don't know what "derp" means. They never saw the original material that "derp" came from. They didn't watch the show, they didn't know who the character was. It wasn't "parents". It was the fandom. The fandom did that. Several key members of the fandom took to social media and started directly harassing the show makers about how "abelist" and offensive it was. This caused a huge backlash where members of the fandom took sides about "Offensive Terms" and the other half of the fandom harassing the harassers and calling them "SJW'S" and "PCtards". It got so big that Hasbro got scared, one of the lead writers on the show apologized, and had it changed to stop the toxic members of the fandom from getting into fights about it, and becuase they were "sorry for causing offense". The whole "it was the parents" thing needs to stop, because that never happened. Parents don't even know who "derpy" was. Parents and even the main demographic of girls DON'T follow the drama or the fandom at all. They never had any clue that this ever even took place. This was 100% a toxic fandom thing with a lot of bronies who got angry and took sides against each other on the internet, and half of them started directly harassing show staff over it. I was very much there and very much saw that whole thing go down. And it was because members of the fandom, some of which were specific key members of the fandom I won't name by name (because I don't want to drag it back up) harassed show staff on their social media. While I won't name names, some of them were regulars on Equestria Daily's comment sections who knowingly did so and openly took credit for doing this and starting the whole thing.

Okay, a lot of people complain about how impossible it is for the changelings to have abducted everyone in the span of a single night... I need to remind everyone that it took a lot longer for Starlight and Trixie to get to the village and back since Trixie was dragging her wagon the entire time. Therefore it was impossible of them to take the train there, so at best it may have taken almost a week to get there and another week to get back.

I seriously recommend you to watch the three EQG recaps back to back, even if it breaks the order of the playlist. Some of the jokes on the next two won't have the same effect if you don't remember what happened on the previous one. The same goes for the Rainbow Rocks recap.

Noone is correcting it that chronicle of Narnias still makes no sense, it's Chronicles of Narnia cuz it is the stories of one country. Like that bothers me more then screwing with hobbit vs Narnia.

Sort of? I've actually read all the books. Narnia is used weirdly. At first it's a country (including mentioning other countries in the first couple books in the series that are not Narnia). But by the end, it is treated more like an entire world and/or plane of existence.
