There’s a theory that I like: André is still alive, and that’s him at the end, taking a picture in front of the arena. The color of the two match (even if it seems to be slightly off, but that can be explained by André being older), and it also explains why the spirits of all the fighters are there as well.

For context, this is an animation about Legacy Andre represents the Old Guard, the animators who formed this community and have mostly moved on, and whom Gildedguy looks up to as inspiration Arzon is the New Blood, new animators like him who are starting to get popular and are inspired by HIM according to Arzon (the animator) himself This is Gildedguy looking at his legacy. He was once somebody who looks up to people and now he's the one whom people are calling an inspiration. It is his love letter to rhis community and his fans yes.

So, the next GildedGuy animation features a character named Violet. You noticed her in a pop up at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1009">16:49</a>. She has her own introduction video that chronologically takes place before her being in the GildedGuy video (I think), called “Violet Duelist Demo,” by Rebonkulous. (Said creator is also in the credits for the GildedGuy videos.) So if you want to take a look at that, that’d be neat.

Violet is in Gildedguy story 8. As this comment mentions, you should watch Violet Duelist demo to get to know her. Additionally, the newest animation produced by Gilded Animation coming out later in December features Violet as the main focus. Its not necessarily a full Gildedguy story, but it is produced by much of the same team, with Rebonkulous being the producer. Would definitely recommend watching Violet vs Dummy after you finish story 8.

General note, you pointed out some out some of the miscelaneous characters and symbols when GG was walking into the Colosseum. Gildedguy offers patreons on a certain tier cameos in his animations and a lot of those you pointed out were cameos and some background details may not have too major impact on the overarching story.

A personal thing that I loved about this one is that Gildedguy shows how much inspiration FLLFFL (or Alfa for friends) has given him, and he's been my favorite since I was a child, flying the turbo sword will always be coolest thing ever in my book.

The red droplet in people's eyes is i think the logo of FluidAnims which was discontinued and is basically the representation of death of a legacy if i'm not wrong. When it appears in other's eyes it means that they get where Andre's coming from in that moment. Why he wants to destroy it. Also Andre becoming a skeleton for a moment hints to Andre being more of a restless wraith at this point. Also explains why he just disappeared the moment he let go of that goal (the red droplet in his eyes vanishes the moment he's about to hit the ground). Also also that dividing the hammer and telekinetically using the two parts was Gilded's idea and wasn't what Andre was capable of before (but he was capable of summoning lightining). P.S. You should watch Dojocast which is a podcast of Hyun, Stone (Andre's creator btw) and Hatena talking with different animators about their animations and lives and stuff and they did an episode with Gildedguy and Rebonkulous.

If you ever get the chance, PLEASE react to Umbrella vs Alfa. it showcases how dark (and sad) RHG's can be, and Alfa is canonically Gildedguy's hero and the reason why he wanted to be a fighter (gladiator) in the first place. The fact you don't know most of the RHG statues hurts my soul. One of these days, you need to go on a full RHG deepdive.

You should check out some of Resh's animations. He's legendary in the community even after he's stopped making stick animations. My main suggestion is checking out his Alpha (fllffl) animations, and his umbrella animations before watching Fllffl vs umbrella. BTW Alpha is the green guy who had the jet sword.
