Gone are the quads, trijets, and T-tails from the prominence they used to have. DC10s are always fun to spot in these videos.

I love those sounds and those old Airline Colors,that you dont get today.All the colors and engine sounds are now all the same.Miss old Airlines,Like Psa,Western ,Eastern ,Twa and the Navy Blue of Delta.

Planespotting was definitely better back then. Today is still good with newer jets, but twin after twin without many Trijet or four engine airliners.

Stabilizer on that md83 ASA flight look a little jerky. I hope they fixed that.

The plane's registration is a bit blurry , I could only make out 'N96 AS'. It'a highly possible that's the doomed N963AS of Alaska flight 261.

@@v2posting881 It's not. I looked at it several times and, although it is blurry, I believe that that registration number was N969AS, not N963AS. The best view I could get was from pausing the video at the EXACT (and I must heavily emphasize exact) moment the video's timer hits 4:07, not a millisecond more or less. There I was able to see a second 9 in the registration number. But it was close! It would've been eerie yet interesting if this WAS in fact N963AS!

Alyssa Boyett Yes I think Garuda will fly to LAX if there is approval from Japan, because before landing in LAX Garuda must transit first in Japan before continue journey to LAX :)
