If every sneaker release was a raffle then maybe our chances are better but when shoes are GR is harder to cop especially when the shoe is a high demand and limited release.. that’s when resellers do what they do smh

I'm 36 years old, been copping sneakers since I was an idiot kid selling weed for sneaker money at 14, so I've been in the game for a hot minute. I say that to say this: I've owned a ton of sneakers, and these are easily one of my all-time favorites. The design is just brilliant. You made a mash-up of two classics that came out better than the originals used to create it, which is amazing. The colors fit perfectly. As an added bonus, VA and CA both hold significant meaning to me (I grew up in Fairfax VA, moved to Santa Monica at 18, and really solidified my identity out there), so it was dope to see both states represented on the shoes. My only regret is that the shoe is so damned valuable/limited now, cuz I know I'm gonna have to buy a second pair! That said, I wear my pair all the time (at least a couple times a week, since they dropped), and they're holding up great. So add "durability" to the list of things that make the shoe great.

And i am so impressed with the attention to detail on this shoe. the little interchangeable velcro on the tongue, the little aglets, velvety inside, smiling swoosh on the sole. Kinda wish i could've got two, one to stash and one to wear on the daily
