i own a neo and just ordered the n3 goggles even though im about to buy an avata 2 with goggles 3 and motion controller anyway. i also just ordered the fpv controller that works with both of these. im a bit of an addict i think lol

Brilliant! Stunning footage from the goggles. I plan to pick up the goggles individually as I already got the Neo just a few months ago. Hopefully in future updates they also become compatible with mini 4 pro!

I have an Avata 2 and with the Goggles 3 has been great! When the N3’s came out, decided to try them, and I now find I like them better for feel and operation to be better. Will keep the G-3’s as primary, since they also work with my Mini 4 Pro (that I haven;t tried them with yet). May even get a second Avata 2! Not at all interested in the Neo. I’d just like to find a case that was made for the A-2 and N-3 goggles combo. (Every oenonly has the A-2 with the G-3 setup) Thanks!🇺🇸

I would have had a good deal more interest in this had it also been compatible with the Mini 4 Pro. However, maybe this is something DJI will think about adding at a later date.

I am debating my self between the Google's and the N3 controller. Is it workable to connect by USB a phone to the goggles to fly with the motion controller if you are flying around people and don't want to wear the goggles? How do ranges compare between the goggles and the standard controller? Thanks!

Hello Sean. I have the goggles 3 and like them but I loose a bit of the screen around the edges. I have seen some reviewers suggesting that the goggles N3 are a better visual experience in this regard. I wonder what your views are re this suggestion

I would tend to agree with that, as I mentioned in the review, it kinda has a curved feel to it. I’m not sure what’s going on there, but it is a little easier. I find to get a good view around the edges

Yes, you can plug your phone in like the past models and they can view on a phone

The NEO is an awesome piece of gear. At its price point limit your expectations. Would like DJI to add "Camera" with timed shots, say 5 Sec & 10 Sec intervals to ALL 6 of the NEO preset shooting modes. At present think only the "Spotlight mode" mode offers timed photos. Recognize that drone capture has been prioritized towards Videographers. Only offering the "Video" Camera Mode is a bit limiting. Primarily a Still photographer. With my Mavic 3 have captured some amazing stills. NEO Camera will have to wait for the NEO Pro so don’t big deal it. Simple an limited Camera/Still settings should be an easy add.

I am wondering why you didn’t describe them as box goggles right in the beginning. It’s the reason you can wear glasses while wearing them anyway. Single screen box(ed) goggles. They are loke other brands box goggles in design, at least in that aspect.

Indeed, it can be very immersive. So much so that some people actually can get some motion sickness from it when they first start. I used to have to sit down to fly FPV. It is a feeling you do get over. It is a lot of fun and thrilling.

Goggle N3, at less than half the price of the Goggles 3,retain many of the same specs, including a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution and 60 fps live feed streamed over DJI's O4 digital video transmission system. They feature a wider 54° FOV over Goggles 3 44° FOV If I didn't have Goggles 3, these would be on order.

personally i didnt like the dji goggles n3 i like that you can adjust the strap to adjust your head but with them only being compatible with the dji neo and avata 2 but not the 03 air unit sucks, and the non adjustable lenses make it hard for people with bad eyes, i sent back for the dji goggles 3 XD

13km range, hmm Neo range is around 2.5km (battery limited) if you want the drone back or 5km if you don't, so the extra 8km of range is rather pointless.
