Between the new Hover drones and DJI Neo these selfie drones have come a long way in a short time. And it's great to see the camera quality improving on the Hover X1 Pro and Pro Max. I wonder if these type of drones will really catch on with the general public, because its very easy to get good shots with them. Get video Shawn, and thanks for sharing.

How does it compare with Djibouti mimo app? My Djibouti mimo app does not work with Samsung s24u

The slow motion is not 120fps it's 30fps in the file so you lose quality if you need to use normal speeds. Also frigging annoying it won't remember the time and for multi camera sync a pain but the follow quality is amazing and years ahead of DJI

The front "heatsink" is there because there are numorous reports of the camera shutting down due to overheating on previous versions of the gopro. I hope this heatsink addresses the issue properly.

I rather use the HDR than the stupid slow motion.

And the big question: this or the Neo?

Does it overheat now with the higher bitrate? People (and DJI?) was afraid of overheating due to it. Would be nice to have an overheating test between low and high bitrate too.

I upgraded from a hero 9. I wasn't going to do it because i had bought 6 batteries that won't work with the 13. Mabye i should have bought the 12 that would work with my batteries. But the gps and all the new lenses , i wanted to try, so as the 12 gets older, the price will go down and ill probably get one since i have all the new batteries. It's black Friday now and I'm going to grab the Dji action 4 and if it's as good as they say, i might sell all my gopro's.

Mechanical disc brakes have their benefits over hydraulic… Usually cheaper to service/maintain in the long run. Overall yes, hydraulic is generally considered better, but unless you’re logging a lot of km’s or money isn’t an issue, mechanical will work just fine for the majority of people too
