Yes, Zappa on guitar. You've got to realize one thing about Zappa, there were no rules. You could expect him to do anything at any time. He played in literally every genre. The guy wrote for band and orchestra, jazz fusion, rock, pop, funk, punk, orchestral, musique concrete, you name it. Master of satire, lyrical insanity, and beyond. There was only one and will never be another one, Zappa. RIP, maestro.

Muffin Man is great intro to one type of Zappa music: killer guitar and weird lyrics. Zappa was a lot of things, including a guitarist. He did 3 albums of only live guitar solos, called Shut Up and Play Your Guitar and similar. But at the top of the list of his talents is probably a composer. So his solos could be lots of things too, bluesy, rock, avant garde, depending on his mood because he could work in all types of music. His music could be modern "classical", fusion (like Hot Rats, Waka-Jawaka, Grand Wazoo albums), rock, avant garde, doo wop, and full of weird or high school dirty minded lyrics. Hard to describe. "Strictly Commercial" tunes to check out are Dirty Love, Cosmik Debris, Montana, I'm the Slime for starters.
