In my ears, the AirPods 1 and 2 fit like a glove. I tried the 3, and they felt huge and awkward, sold them immediately. My question is will the 4's fit as well as the 2, or more like the 4.

the only thing that is intriguing about the 4's is the fact that the pros cause ear irritation. I am very curious to see the first reviews of the ANC. How this is achieved with no ear seal got me curious. If they can get good ANC with no ear seal then imagine what this tech would do to the next Pros.

Soundcore also helped me once with older buds I had and went over the top to fix the issue. I'd never pay 4x more for Airpods that can only get 4 hours of play time.

I tried the airpods pro 2 and airpods 4 with anc at the apple event, and honestly, the 4s are not better in any way than the pro 2s, not even close, the pro 2s are by far much better than airpods 4, airpods 4 is like a budget version of the pro 2s

The difference is you’re getting the AirPods 4 for almost SEVENTY dollars cheaper, which is a big chunk of money you can use on something else in your life. The average listener will probably think the 4’s are just as good if not better than the pro 2’s while also finding the anc acceptable for the price range.

I tried all of the 3 airpods and for me its safe to say that the pro 2s are a clear winner in terms of sound quality, functionality and ANC and its not even close tbh. the 20th more people will be able to test out the 4s and the pro 2s, and i think this is a hidden genious move by apple becuase when people are at the stores trying out the 4s and pro 2s they will see that its only like a 50 dollar difference, but the pro 2s are so much better than the 4s so they will end up spending more which makes apple more money, thats also a reason why they didnt release the pro 3s this year.

I wouldn’t unless you just didn’t like the Pro design for whatever reason. I just got Pro 2 on sale for almost the same price as the 4s, and they go on sale often so just get a good deal. Now if you’re paying full price it might be better but there’s no reason you have to do that.

there was a test at the apple event where they turned on simulated airplane engine noise and stuff like that, i switched between the 4s and the pro 2s with my partner to try the ANC, and yeah its very obvious that the pro2s are better, anyone will be able to feel the difference, pro 2s has better anc, and becuase it has better anc the sound quailty from the music will not be distrupted by outside noise, and therefore it will sound better.

They did sound significantly better, I had both for sometime and the Pro 1’s sounded flat and boring in comparison, ended up giving mine away till I switched to the Pro 2’s, and by the way NO AirPods are audiophile grade headphones lol, not the Pro 1’s not the Maxes, they’re all consumer grade products.

Audiophile is very subjective I thought the 3s sounded better than pro I sold my pro was very disappointed I think the max suck compared to my hires soundcore at 4x less expensive the max are a rip off but the max got great reviews so I realized what sounded good to one won’t to another I use bowers and Wilkins towers and some say kimber cable are amazing yet I hear no different from my monster z1 and again 5x the price my brother sets eq at very low treble very high mid it sounds awful to me as I do the opposite
