APPLE EVENT 9 SEPTEMBER: Like I predicted, Apple announced new Airpods called the Airpods 4 and Airpods 4 with ANC. So this video is still fully relevant, but there's 2 extra now. It's basically an upgrade to the 3rd gens, where now they have USB-C instead of lightning, and the ''with ANC'' version features Active Noise Cancelation without the in-ear tips. So that could be great for those that hate in-ears. We'll have to see how good it is though, so stay tuned for my updated video.

Had used the AirPods Pro 1 gen , AirPods gen 2 and EarPods and now using AirPods Pro gen 2 . I would say the EarPods for normal usage and AirPods Pro gen 2 for everyday gym use , outdoor is the best .

I would definitely can say it’s worth as a one headphone when I compared ANC with the old gen you find out the difference about the weird sound as people who uses around 11 months (and everyday) I didn’t get any noises like that.

i bought a pair of earpods with usb c when i bought my iphone 15 pro just to have with me and not care if i lose them and i was quite impressed, ofc they dont have crazy bass but the clarity and sound separation are surprisingly good

I had them once back in 2020 and they were pretty good for earbuds and it came with the phone which was a iPhone 6S but I don’t ended up losing them 😅

This comment is my way of life right here!!! I use my EarPods all the time for running at the gym they sound great and don’t fly out! I do have the AirPods Pro 1st gen but they do a lot of static noise so I just stopped using them.

My person experience I prefer the EarPods for daily use and they never need to recharge. The Pros are great as well. I did like the Airpods 2nd Gen but they don't last. As for the Pros and Pros(2nd Gen), it's great but the suction after a while gets annoying. I suggest getting ear tips memory-foam. They feel better and stay on.

I got the 3rd gen, was worried they wouldn’t fit cuz a lot of people were saying it online but they fit even better than my 2s. The Spatial Audio is also a cool extra feature.

Use AirPods Pro 2nd gen for gym, running and some daily use. Have a pair of EarPods too. Modified. Carefully modded a couple of good fitting AirPods Pro silicone tips to fit on the EarPods and glued them on. Some added passive noice cancellation, better fit (will stay in ear) and due to better seal in the ear canal a better base and generally better audio. And remember - the EarPods support Hires audio…

I don’t like air pods in my ears but that with the free ones that were packaged in the box with the iPhone. I just ordered a pair of Beats Solos to use exclusively with my Apple TV 4 K. I’ll use them to not disturb anyone late at night listening to a movie or music. I hope I will like them. Apple gives you two weeks to try them out. I didn't really cross-shop the Pro's with any of these, since I wanted noise cancellation. In my use, they're just as much hearing protectors as they are earbuds. Being able to get foam tips has let me work near jets without having to worry about hearing damage, though they only offer about 30 db of reduction

Nice comparison! Sounds best to go corded basic or all in with Pro Gen 2. I think I’ll stick with basic for $20. Mine conked out on one side after getting wet. But, I have a 3.5 mm jack on my iPad and can easily find my wired earbuds. I don’t listen to music too much anyway, but it’s good to have ear buds for privacy.

Good thing is there are silicon tips that come in the box for the AirPod pros gen 2. It really helps you find you level of comfortableness so that it doesn’t fall out and you get the best audio available

For me it was between the airpods 4 anc ($193.44 after taxes in utah) and the pro 2 usbc (on sale for $204.45 after taxes) it only came down to fit and the 4s didn't fit so I went with the pro 2 usbc but if your on a budget get the 4s w/o anc for $130 they are really good.

I just bought the 3rd gen AirPods and I’m little disappointed because I thought these were a pro variant and I was looking forward to the noise cancellation feature. Had a wired pair since iPhone came out with their own headphones, been looking to finally get into the Bluetooth ones but concerned about them draining the battery, I work a job where I am under an NDA so I cannot have it out for the 10 hours I work so I can’t really charge it, it’s too bad the video doesn’t touch more on battery usage on the phone itself

There’s always a little delay in wireless ones, so I can’t use it for editing for example. Not sure how that is with gaming but I can imagine zero delay would be preferred. So wired!

If you don’t need noise cancelling just buy the EarPods I see no point in the midrange AirPods as they have a lower quality mic and sound is no better/ about as good for the third gen. Wireless is not as convenient as people think. If the cable is getting in the way of your activity run it through your shirt…

Ok so I have had the 3rd gen and the pros 2. The 3rd gen is very uncomfortable and if it doesent fit in your ear properly it will sound quite bad, also my 3rd gens broke after a few months of using them which was quite disappointing. The pros are great in most ways, the noise canceling is great and the sound quality is great as well but I don’t really ever use the Spatial Audio because on most occasions it will not have any improvements to having it off. Also the pros are very comfy

I had i think the original airpods (2nd gen from what this video says) and they were stolen from me i just came to this video bc when i went to go buy a new pair there are like 4 different versions i really liked my original airpods so i don’t think i need the newer models

2nd generation is not the original, hence the name *2nd generation.* The original would be the first generation.. basic common sense. However based on what you said indeed go with the 2nd generation
