Bought these recently (type C case) to replace my Airpods 2. The sound difference is amazing. Love these. A word of warning to those who want to buy. This may be the top Apple product that is counterfeit. The fake Airpods Pro 2 will look 99.99% the same. So, unless you have the original airpods in your hand you wont be able to differentiate. They sound ok too. They bring up similar settings menus and pop ups as the real ones. You can change between features such as Noise Cancellation etc. and they act like something changes. What they wont do is update the firmware, and transfer to another Apple device signed into the same account. You wont be able to use them on your iPad if they are paired to your iPhone. They appear in the Bluetooth menu but you cant switch to them. So, take care out there.

I use these under my helmet when I ride my motorcycle. The mic doesn’t work well enough for making calls, but the noise cancellation is so good that it basically eliminates wind noise at highway speeds. I can still hear the cars around me as well as my music. They are still holding up well over a year later and help preserve what hearing I have left after the military.

You should never use noise cancelling earbuds for this purpose. It just “making you believe” that is helping to preserve your hearing, but actually is not. There is plenty articles about that and I’m myself a motorcyclist.

@@TomasN37 According to Hearing Review, the AirPods Pro 2 can reduce low-frequency noise by up to 35 dB and provide an average of 27 dB of protection across frequency ranges. This is similar to the protection offered by custom-molded ear plugs. The New York Times article also proves when ANC is enabled they outperformed most earplug types. The articles you are talking about say you can’t count on transparency mode to reduce dB to safe levels. Maybe you need some new readers 👓

pro tip: while many listen to the AP2pro as stock, using an app like spotify and to adjust / tinker the EQ settings will make you love these earphones even more.

Hey Aaron. I bought my airpods pro 2 two weeks ago. I have realized that I use them way more than my airpod maxes. The noise cancellation is on par with the maxes but ONLY if I use earhooks that I’ve bought from amazon, as airpods pros don’t stay in my ears at all. I had the Gen 1 airpod pros previously and they lasted me 3 years.

Used my 1st gen 12+ hours a day. Got Gen 2 at Costco for $180 with AppleCare included this week. Huge upgrade for heavy users like me. Noticeable improvement in audio quality and fidelity. Adaptive audio is amazing. Volume controls on the pods is a big benefit when using with non-Apple devices. A major upgrade in every way.

I love mine. I've had them for a year and they're wonderful to have when riding a motorcycle. The ANC works surprisingly well and attenuates the harsh wind noise down to a subtle woosh up to 80mph. The microphones also work surprisingly well to where I can make Siri commands and take phone calls while riding at speed.

I got the UBS-C ones on release. I’ve used them to a ridiculous degree and there holding up great. Might have to replace purely because I’ve thrown them about so much travelling and they’ve dropped out pockets and stuff. Sound brilliant and noise cancelling is astoundingly good. Considering the H2 chip and all the features it enables, I would say it’s a worthy upgrade. Battery life and the extra small ear tips made me upgrade. The OG pros didn’t fit right and the ventilation was poor. There was also so much pressure but apple added a second vent on the outside of the Pro 2 and it helps alot

I have both the 1st and 2nd gen AirPods Pro and enjoy them both, and would recommend the 2nd gen for anyone looking. I’m a typical user for music, video watching (KZbin and streaming services alike) and use them for meetings I have at work, and when I need something to mute the noise. I’ve used them on airplanes as well, and they do a great job all things considered. I recommended them to a coworker, as they were wanting something for the noise cancelling and something good for music. I suggested the Amazon storefront as like you mention regularly, they go on sale. I would love to get my hands on the Maxes at some point down the road, when I can financially afford them, and will wait for the hopeful newer model as well.

Two weeks ago, I visited the Apple Store and bought these. I’m pretty amazed with them and enjoying them when I’m working from home. I can take phone calls and listen in to Zoom calls. All in all, battery life is a little over 4 hours and it’s not too bad when listening to a KZbin video like this one. If you can catch a sale, then I’d recommend getting a pair and enjoying them. I do like the seal they make in the ear, and I got used to that quickly. I have over the ear headphones made by Anker, (Soundcore Life Q20) and I have to admit the Anker headphones have a much deeper bass and overall dynamic range. But the AirPods Pro 2nd Gen sound very good also.

Love my Air Pods Pro2. They work beautifully no issues, however I will notice the audio goes all weird when I have them connected to a wireless transceiver that allows me to be able to listen to the TVs audio bcz the smart tv isn’t capable of Bluetooth out of the box. It’s a quick fix just take them out put them back in your ears and boom! I highly recommend them❤⭐️🙌🏻

I have them and use them daily. Also have the AirPodsMax for watching movies at night when the kids are in bed. I definitely have a time limit for keeping them in my ears too. I had the original AirPods Pro and upgraded at Christmas as one of the buds was making hissing noises intermittently. The sound from all I've used have been fantastic. I'm not an audiophile but I enjoy my music through decent equipment.

As someone with audiophile tendencies, I still gravitate towards the AirPods Pro 2 for all of their convenience and lack of cables. My audiophile headphones are over-ear, weigh quite a bit (well, compared to in-ears) and of course have a thiccc premium cable, which makes operation... annoying 🤷‍♂

As an AirPods Pro 2 owner, I love them, the only bug I have with them is connectivity and thats it but I do run betas on my phone but my phone only, not the AirPods. I have no regrets about buying them and the price, I got them on Amazon back when they where $199 so I got the $50 discount but especially if they are going to add the hearing aid feature, they should lower the price for older people that can't hear be able to afford it. I had the original Bluetooth ear piece from Apple and never went beyond wired. Cost was too high and had low expectations of battery life. The first pro set was tempting but when version two came out and everyone boasted the huge improvements I thought, wait a minute. The first version was reviewed as the absolute best. At that point I knew version 2 wasn’t because no one has heard version 3. Deliver lossless over six hours that beat wired for fidelity and maybe it’ll be worth a $10 increase in price. 😉 11:08

I once went to another city to hang out with friends, but when I arrived and needed my AirPods case to put them in, I found out I lost my it in my hurry cycling to the train station. I was keeping an eye on the Find my map all night long, and when I got home at night I found it again! I got the Pro 2's when they launched. I messed up and put mines in the wash for an hour like 2 months ago. Left them in my jacket pocket and didn't notice until I went to look for them and they weren't in the case. I ran to stop the washing machine and the cycle had already stopped. Got them out, shook the water out, blew into them and dried them off. At first I was getting all sorts of audio glitches. One side sounded lower than the other and features like noise cancellation and transparency didn't work. But as they dried completely everything went back to normal. All features work, sound is back to normal, As good as they were before I put them in the wash. I've noticed rare charging issues where I leave them charging over night and one side didn't charge but I just fiddled around with them in the case and it worked. 2 months after the wash and they're holding on. Another guy said he did the same thing and his worked normal for like a week or two before they just gave out.

I’ve recently started having some issues with my brand new AirPods Pro 2nd generation that I purchased in late February this year. Since last Wednesday, my right AirPod started having loud clicking noise followed by very loud static noise whenever the ANC or transparency was on. The volume also increased suddenly at times and the orientations of the AirPods randomly changed and concentrated on the right AirPod. I took it to the Apple store and had it checked but the Genius Bar guy found that my AirPods passed all the diagnostics they ran. He even ran a diagnostics in front of me but couldn’t find anything. I’m in the process of sending them for replacement/repair. Not sure if this is because of some bug or if anyone else is also facing this issue. All my Apple devices are on their latest available firmware and OS versions and I don’t play around with betas as I use my devices for work.

I don’t rate my Airpods Pro Gen 2: they suck for jogging, running or any activity where your head moves. Tried all fittings but when your ears sweat up then they move & fall out so easily. If you try poking them back in then due to the touch sensitivity you’ll either turn them off or switch noise modes. Just totally frustrating interruptions to your training. Next, if you wear them lying in bed then when you turn your head and the pillow pushes against the airpod which then also touches your ear or skin, then this also stops the audio or switches the noise mode!! You can’t use airpods pro in the rain (even light rain) -as soon as they get wet they will whistle, screech or worse making them unusable until they dry out. ps we have had 3 sets but now mainly only for light use. Bought Sony Sports versions for gym/jogging etc. Hope this helps

I'm on Android and currently rocking the Huawei Freebuds Pro 3. (they are possibly banned in the US). Nothing beats them in sound and features. I love tws buds, they are just little gems to carry around. If I had iOS and MacOS I'd definitely get the AirPods Pro 2, even though they are far from the best buds but they just work. Unfortunately my wife's pair yellows earlier than in a year. Also, I am not gonna get them until they have REAL multipoint. Switching between iOS device is great but is only a trickery, to be honest. ANC and transparency are however UNBEATABLE.

Currently daily drive Soundcore Liberty 4 nc, they are decent and a great value earbud, but at this point I daily drive an iPhone, MacBook Air and an Apple Watch, and while liberty 4 nc earbuds does have multi connectivity, it sometimes takes like 10 seconds to switch, small thing but it’s annoying, heavily considering the AirPods Pro 2, worried that the Pro 3’s will be announced as I buy them though 😅

I know people have a very good overall opinion about AirPods, but I experienced something completely different the AirPods Pro(gen2) The battery life on my unit was noticeably less than what it should be(I did return it after a few days for to service, they said it’s fine, well it’s not, it has a terrible battery life, yet they did nothing) Find my was basically useless, I could almost never rely on it. The battery widget didn’t work properly for a long time, but they fixed that in the last update. For some reason the microphone works terribly, nobody can understand me in a phone call and I can’t use the dictation function while with AirPods. This, combined with the fact that my iPhone 12 Pro has had a terrible battery life along the years has turned me completely off from buying other Apple devices, like an Apple Watch.

I just got the pro 2’s. The 3’s seemed so far off and to be honest. When the Apple Watch X comes out I want that. Spread out the costly tech expenses.

@@zollotech oh we care! i feel like theres less perceived interest just due to limited adoption of AVP because of its price. But even at that a lot of people like me keep searching for new information about it while still slumming it with my quest 3 😂 (love quest tho)

I lke 'em except when I drop tiem and the case doesn't keep them in the case. The Pro 1's are ok too, but the volume control is a big add-on.

I’m urging to get these but on the fence about waiting for the Pro’s 3. My original Pro’s work fine the somehow the Mic on both doesn’t work anymore so I can’t make or receive phone calls which is annoying 🤷‍♂️.

I can't recommend the AirPods Pro 2, I'm one of many who have lost all bass since an earlier firmware update and nothing recommended anywhere has fixed it besides audiograms, which Apple decided to break in iOS17.4.

At 07:02, what do you mean by “degrade”? My first thought was it might be personalised volume, but I’m not sure. I think I have probably have had a similar issue with AirPods Pro 2 (Lightning) and the Max. Edit: Just wanted to add: The max are my favourite headphones. But I wish, if there will be an update to them, they will feature adaptive audio. I just love wearing my AirPods without needing to touch them all the time when I want it to be more quiet.

Hope he answers, I’m also curious. One issue I’ve had for some time now is that the audio inevitably shifts very slowly from one side to another over time (typically after a couple minutes), no software update has been able to fix this for me.

Degrade might not be the best word, but what I meant is the bitrate changes so the audio quality gets worse and worse.

@@rodolfocamposjimenez2566 I've been experiencing the same thing, regarding the switching. Mostly I just put them in the case and take them back out. That usually helps. I'm also hoping for a software update.
