Have no problems with Buds Pro. Probably one of my favorite right now. I have been using the Buds plus for awhile now but these are way more comfortable. I use them for HIIT workout, Boxing and they stay securely in my ears never feeling like they would fall out even with the active movements. They sound terrific (at least to my ears), plenty of bass, good battery life and pairs seamlessly to phone when taken out of the case. The ANC works pretty well for my use case and drowns out most of the surrounding noise. I am overall very happy with these.

​@@slushy7 I own Airpods and the sound is worse than my Edifier H185 (literally less than $15 and literally a Chinese brand, and I highly recommend it). Airpods Pro and Galaxy Buds Pro do NOT even support any high-res codec like aptX (Qualcomm) or LDAC (Sony) because Apple and Samsung wanna cut cost (so only AAC is supported), so these will not only sound worse than wired ones, they will also sound worse than other wireless ones that do support high-res codec. You are mostly just paying for their brand (and their proprietary stuff that doesn't work on any other phone brands), not quality.

I just get my Galaxy Buds Pro as a pre-order gift. I have been using Airpods pro as my carrying ear buds for over a year. My experience: the sound quality crushes the Airpods pro, it sounds much more open and defined with much better bass. However, the ANC and ambient mode is still not on the level of Airpods Pro, it also tends to pick up more wind noise. In summary I think Galaxy buds pro are the overall better package, you get much better sound quality, much more control with reasonablly effecitive ANC and ambient mode. Fair warning: don't try extra high ambient sound if don't want to damage your hearing. However, in terms of my favourite sounding earbuds, I would pick the Galaxy buds live. I know they don't block out noise at all, but in terms of sound quality, it's the closest thing I have experienced to a pair of open back headphone.

Interesting note: When she mic checked both, the Buds Pro were a lot smoother as. The Airpods were very sharp. Kind of uncomfortably felt it in my spine. I am listening through Buds live so that may have something to do with it.

So nice review Airpods pro ear tips makes pain a lot in my right ear canal after about 30 minutes. I got the Comply foam air tip.Much better for sound isolation than original but is still irritable to the right ear. Never could sleep with airpods. On the other hand , all Samsung galaxy buds (original , plus & live) are so convenient. I listen to the audio while sleeping during night without any difficulty in the morning , specialy when I have galaxy buds live. An amazing gadget

I had the same issues with the airpods in my right ear. It kept falling out, even with the foam tips. They would also irritate my ear canal. I’ve tried so many earbuds and the best fit were the Galaxy Buds+, but the fact that they still go in the ear bothered me. So I’ve decided to go over ear headphones. Bought the Sony XM4s, and they are great! Now my ears feel good and I still get good quality sound.

Considering most people used them for listening to music then it has to be the Bud Pro. Plus the Bud Pro having that voice recognition feature makes it a winner all day. The IPod Pro sounds too robotic, the galaxy much warmer and clearer. Plus the Bud Pro find feature is extremely useful when they drop behind the bed or sofa

I had to jump on the buds pro, after trying out the plus and live.. They have the bass I prefer. I have the same issue making the buds pro fit in my right ear. In my left it's fine right so so... I'm definitely keeping these until they launch next version.. Team bass boast setting!

As someone who owns both galaxy and iOS devices, I went with the Jabra Elite Active 75T. They recently got a firmware update for ANC and support each and every feature on both platforms. They even support Siri on iphones and Google assistant on Android 😁

Already owning airpod pros i bought the buds pro thinking i would have better coming out of it. Right now i have one of each in each ear and airpods pro is leagues above buds pro especially for music. Even the bass sound more deep and quality on top of the crisp mids and highs. Buds pro anc is so minor compared to airpods. There is a reason why there is a big price difference. As far as quality there’s no comparison. Only upside to buds pro is better battery life

Funny thing is watching a sound engineers video the buds pro was leagues ahead of the airpods pro. crisper mids & highs harder hitting bass thanks to the 2 way speaker setup. the airpods pro sounded muffled bass was decent really ain't worth it in my opinion.

Hey Lexy, i got these today, and ive been doing this today also, airpods pro v buds pro, btw the samsug hack works, if u use both phones, u can connect them w a samsung song i use an s20 fe, customise the settings, and then re connect with the iPhone. Since no curreny ios app support. Music sound quality trumps airpods pro, but yeah i love the vacume seal feel u get with airpods pro. Please share this with your users. This is a useful tip if u wana use these with apple products.

@@LexySavvides welcome, do try it out. Adjust the settings as per your preferences on your Samsung and connect with ur apple device. Another discovery, the voice sensor is a bit sensitive on the buds pro, they will go into ambient mode even when your breathing heavily such as during a work out. It even picked up my humming along with the tunes i was listening to on my iPhone. As useful as the speech sensor is, it is something that will take getting used to.

Just bought it, quick observation, great sound, crystal clear but loudness is low, need to keep it 100% volume, buds quite comfortable, but yes with the case opening it feels flimsy, hinges seem to be loose, is it like this only, could anyone confirm, overall it's good

I personally didn’t enjoy the Buds Pro as much as the AirPods. I found that the buds had the typical v shape sound profile really pushing the bass and the highs but lost some clarity and detail in the mids. They push the higher frequency bass far too much. AirPods Pro have a much more balanced sound. The bass is still punchy and boomy but not overpowering the rest. They seemed to push the mids a bit giving it more clarity. AirPods also have a slightly wider soundstage cos it doesn’t go in your ear as much. Both are great but I like the AirPods Pros. Also the case for the galaxy buds seemed flimsy and lid was jiggly on 2 pairs I tried

I am pretty sure you can set google assistant instead of bixby by going into settings then apps then bixby voice then turn off set as default. After you do that then google assistant should be available.

Yep you can but you can't get the earbuds (rather than the phone) to register you saying "Hey Google" - instead you have to long press the buds touch panel to bring up the assistant. Let me know if you can get it to work with voice activation though! It might be a trick I didn't find yet.

I returned my buds live and because the left side would not charge. I am giving them another chance with the Buds Pro. I like them so far after a day. I wish Samsung will update the firmware to let me use volume control and ANC/AS toggle without having to choose one or the other.
