They just released an update for double tap edges to adjust volume. Turn that on and you can just tap the back of your ears to adjust volume also leaving more customizable options.

I'm using the foam tips since my first version of Galaxy buds, and that worked amazingly well. Now I've got the Galaxy buds live. The sound is great but I wish I had the Pro because that's much better when running and don't want to hear the wind that much I guess.

These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. kzbin.infoUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.

At last, some absolutely great tips I can use. I got my GBP last spring and have had some issues. I even lost my right ear bud and bought s separate and synced them. With the foam tips I am ordering and making the adjustments to the app. I am excited. I use these with my Fitbit Versa, laptop, phone, Roku, TV. Yea, I am now a lifelong subscriber. You can set as well to tap your ears to increase or decrease the volume since it has the sensor needed. It let's you use the long press for something else (Spotify, transparency). Also you can activate Bixby voice detect. This way, you have all features working for you

Great video! I didn't know about the EQ. I'll try it, but I haven't been too successful in EQ's in the past; especially with my H1's. Good to see that you're able to "MacGyver" on a pair of Comply tips. I contacted Comply and they said they're working on some proprietary tips for the Buds Pro. Which is great, because while at the gym Friday the left bud fell out. Or what I like to call "active ambient mode".😂 I just got these last week and have made some personal observations. The voice detect is rather finicky. It seemed to work when I was testing it but when someone was talking to me at the gym I was talking back to him and it didn't switch to ambient mode. Also I'm a bit of a bass head (I do have a bit of hearing loss), and found I get the best sound with ANC on, which is odd (for me). I can't tell the difference between min and max ANC. Other than that I personally find the sound better than my Airpods Pro, although the Airpods Pro has the Buds Pro beat in the ANC department. Edit: Oh, one thing I would like improved are the touch controls. It's great that the press-and-hold is configurable, but the controls as a whole isn't very intuitive. For me one of the best earbuds in terms of touch controls are the MPOW M30's. Very simple to control.

Also, by changing the EQ in your main settings, wouldn't that also change the sound when you are using your phone in speakerphone? Would be a pain changing this every time your using the earbuds. I think the adapt sound and uhq feature within settings is more geared for your earphones not the equaliser.. let me know what you think?

The EQ changes along with the sound output device currently used. If I use "jazz" EQ for my phone speaker setup, when I connect my galaxy buds pro, the EQ changed to "normal" because I didn't use any for mine. Same thing will happen if I disconnect my buds pro and the EQ will revert back to "jazz" along with dolby atmos too.

Finally they are good. I've had these for a few months and found that they were taking a back seat to my Jaybird Vistas. I found that they did not fit well which affected the ANC. Comply to the rescue. They finally came out with tips specifically for the Buds Pro and they are a game changer. ANC is way better because of the tighter seal, sound is crisper and the fit is spot on! We'll see how they stack up now that I have the Vista 2

Another good, but Samsung only, tip is the Adapt Sound function. In the sound quality settings, at the bottom is "Adapt Sound". This plays a series of tones of varying volume / pitch into each ear, you click yes or no whether you can hear it. It then builds a custom EQ for your hearing - boosting frequencies your ears cannot detect well. Just adds back in the frequencies you can't hear so well. I always do it for each set of buds i have since each will have a different frequency response

The Labs section has a feature that allows you to double tap the back of your ears to raise or lower the volume, so having the regular touch and hold set to controlling the volume seems redundant. I have mine set to allow for virtually every feature at once that's not called Spotify.

I did same for all of my earbuds: sony 1000mx earbuds; airpods pro; cheap earbuds from Amazon....and sounds are always x10 much much better. Please if possible use foambuds for excellent isolation and improvement for bass, while making the fit more secure and comfortable

Thank you for the video now I can buy some of the foam tips that actually fit unlike the ones Amazon. The stock ones were so bad they literally get stuck in my ear canal I had to have my wife dig one out at least once super sketchy and awkward and something I've never ever had happen not even with Dollar store earbuds they are literally trash the buds however are some of the best sounding Bluetooth buds I've ever used
