It is very interesting to learn about other ethnic groups in Guyana too. I visited India in 2009 and I felt so welcomed there in Maharashtra Mumbai. I had the most fantastic time of my life there. Your people are also hospitable and rich in cultures. We also visited Srianka and Singapore in 2018 .I do encourage people to visit their ancestral countries...Very good vibes..

Dear Ravinder singh -i am from India -last two yers back all of sudden I came to to know about indo Guyanese/ your ancestors shifted from India 🇮🇳from 1938 to 1917 to work in sugar cane plantations/but you are still preserved indian culture and tradition in your heart and following till to this date /it is not a small thing /please show daily life of the indo Guyanese / what about our indians in Government services / please make one video about Government services of our indians /like Teachers /police/Revenue Department/education Department/etc. Thank you Ravinder singh Ramesh From-India

Our country is blessed with a good culture of different ethnic groups.We have the indeginous people called AMERINDIANS, The African Guyanese, The Indian Guyanes, Chinese, Portuguese, Mixed races , some other Europens, Scottish people. Recently, there has been influx of immigrants from Brazil, Venezuela, Surinam and Caribbean also Indians and Africans who have joined in our diversed ethnic populations. Thats true the Descendants from India have kept the religions and cultures alive. Our current Government comprise of people from all ethnic backgrounds .Our President is an Indian Born Guyanese who is called Irfan Ali and he believes in A ONE GUYANA Movement to encourage harmony and unity with all the races living in our English speaking Guyana. I think it's convenient for the Pilots , flight attendances, and tourists to rest up there ,then continue with their other journeys convenient to them. Reputable tourists companies and travel information to explore Guyana will certainly be required.

Foreign investment is fine but they only provide a few jobs, and the income is shipped out. More local content in hospitality is needed in the vicinity of the airports. Very nice!

I flew on that airplane, the DC-3 without propellers, when I was a child. We had cows, goats and chickens as passengers...🙈

Actually, that airplane is still air worthy. It’s well maintained by the Guyanese technicians.

@@majie1018 Good to know & great! There's a huge demand for DC-3s for historic planes. They were the workhorse of aviation back in the day. They are very sturdy, can use a variety of terrains and are easier to maintain. They are still in use today from Alaska to Chile to South Africa to Russia...👍

@@solid1378 Hi, I was just kidding! But I use to work for the McDonnell Douglas company and they are work horses. The dc 10 is still in service around the world. Worked on those after it was renamed MD11.

I flew with GAC 3 times. I tried to fly a 4th time from NWD to GT, but all the seats were filled. My 5th & last time was when the plane broke down & took 3 days to fix. Since then, I flew with Bee Wee (now Caribbean) without any problems. Presently, other airlines are in the pool. Competition is high.
