@@mofishin2648 The Office of Homeland security releases its estimates for illegal immigrants 3 years after the fact. In 2018 we were at 11.5 million, 2019: 11.1 million. 2020: 10.5 million. 2021: unlisted... 2023: 10.9 million, and the big one in 2024... 11.9 million. all of which would logically be deflated numbers if the government really was doing said plan about the election. 1 million illegal immigrants in 1 year. the plan to help them? give them 1000 dollars monthly stipend and housing. our government sees its own citizens as lost causes and chooses to manipulate illegal immigrants by charity work, projecting an image of abundance while our homeless and disabled population have to jump through hoops in our broken sytstem while illegals just have to show up, on behalf of our tax dollars, and the funniest part, we call it democracy. who decided to do this? it sure as hell wasnt the immigrants, it wasnt you, it wasnt me, isn't our government supposed to be fair and representative of the people that reside in it's country? why are we defending the government? I feel bad for the immigrants they are just as much pawns as they are working towards a better future and its great and all they want to come to America but it's interfering with our system jeopardizing the whole thing potentially ruining it for all of us! Speak for yourself. A lot of US citizens are some of the most brainwashed, violent, intolerable humans on both sides of the political spectrum. Their government is also teetering on the edge of collapse and when it happens they will drag us down with them. Canada is in a no win situation next election. Either Trump gets elected and all of those people currently crossing the border will be coming back into Canada by the millions because they will fear being deported or Kamala wins and runs the country into the ground causing the next great depression. They are like a couple of dogs fighting each other to the death on a raft that is about to go over the Niagara falls.

As a dual citizen I’m grateful for you. I was born in California but my dad was also a dual citizen. My father was born in Winnipeg. But his mom was from Liverpool and father from Winnipeg. He was sent during WW2 to Liverpool and met my grandmother whilst in England. They left Winnipeg when my dad was 3 because my grandmother wanted to be close to some family and she had a sister who married an American soldier during the war and they lived in Palo Alto, California. My family came here legally. The first time I stepped foot in Canada was at the age of 8 when I moved to Winnipeg. However, I felt really unwelcome. I guess because I was a child ppl felt more freely to talk in front of me like I didn’t understand what they were saying, and because my dad was Canadian no one had a problem expressing their feelings about “Americans” quite freely. The fact is I was and will always be Canadian as well as American. I’m incredibly proud of both sides of my family. So hearing ppl bashing Americans was very upsetting to me. I’m always grateful to ppl who chose to be kind and care for our neighbors. My parents ended up bringing back to California and I have not lived in Canada since then. But costed my dad often in Vancouver until last year when he passed away.

I am a retired U.S. Border Patrol Agent and was assigned to both the southern border in San Diego Sector California and the northern border in Blaine Sector, Washington state. Both borders are profoundly different and difficult to manage properly without adequate manpower. When I entered on duty (EOD) in 1995, we had less than 6,000 agents to patrol the entire United States, including our maritime borders. When I retired in 2018, we had approximately 20,000 agents. In stark contrast, the New York City Police Department currently has 36,000 officers in one city. Our elected officials are utter failures! A nation without secure borders is not a secure nation.
