Here’s a tip I recently learned. Take a small zippered pouch with a sewn in loop on the end such as a small toiletry bag. Fill it with in flight essentials such as an eye mask, lip balm, power bank, charging cord, tissues, pen, etc. use a Hero clip (found at Amazon) to hook it to the swayback pocket. You’ll have your essentials within easy reach during the flight. No digging through your bag underneath the seat. It’s also great for kids.

I totally agree. Getting to the airport early is a great tip. I’d rather be there early and wait a long time for my flight then get to the airport late and have to rush. I’m flying from Baltimore to Houston in a few days. First time flying in 2 years ( due to coronavirus) and I’m very excited! Thanks for the tips! And you just got your self a new subscriber!

Hi Jaylen! Thank you for watching and subscribing! 💕I am the same way! I would much rather get there early than be scrambling at the last minute or miss my flight. TSA care's if you need it ask. If you need accomodations from your airline ask. If you need it use the resources out there that are available. Example I process information slowly once I am rushed I shut down and really move slowly. Sensory issues so pat down is even worse. Security tips night flights are generally quicker through security but if your flight gets cancelled you aren't getting on another one. Stretch your clothes something I have been told by TSA it does work.

I believe you have to put your snacks in another plastic bag and put them separately in on the conveyor, but is there a limit to how many snacks you can bring with you in your carry on bag/purse?
@KRodCollective2 жыл бұрын
Hi Shelly! Yes! This is true. If you’re going through the standard security, you must have all your snacks in a large plastic bag and they must go through the conveyor belt separately. I don’t think there’s a limit to how many snacks you can bring with you. As long as they fit and are compliant with TSA regulations, you’re good to go. Hope this helps. 💕

I agree, get there early. But I live in podunk Texas and no one will be at the airline desk until one hour before my international flight. 🤦🏻♀️. Fortunately, I have Global Entry w/TSA PRE CHECK

haha yes, sometimes it's like that at some airports. haha Nice! I'm so glad Global Entry and Pre-check are so beneficial for you! Thanks for watching! 💕

Hello. I've been wondering about if I should Tsa/ global entry. Flying to Egypt in May from Dallas airport. Are the lines usually long? Would it be worth it?
@RDens4d2 жыл бұрын
@@detangers it’s absolutely worth it. Especially if you’re somewhat of a frequent flier. The lines are crazy out of control and border agents aren’t fully staffed. The ability to step off a plane and walk over to a bank of mostly empty computers, pop in your information and and in 60 seconds, waltz right thru, is worth every penny. And if you live in Dallas, you don’t have to fly across state for your interview like I did. 🤷🏻♀️
@KRodCollective2 жыл бұрын
@@detangers Hey there! I'm a big advocate for TSA precheck or Global Entry. haha I like them a lot. Sometimes the lines can be long depending on the time of day, the airport, etc. But it usually goes pretty quick in my experience. If you need help figuring out which one is a better fit for you, check out this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKGQlp-rqp2Keqs

10:55 people stand in line for 15 minutes while TSA has been saying the same instructions to 200 people in front of you and it’s like they just landed on the moon when they get to security! When I travel, my wallet phone and keys are in my carry on until I get through security.
@KRodCollective Жыл бұрын
Hahahaha I know right? I think ppl are so in their own zone in the line that when they get to the front it finally hits them that they’ve actually gone some things to do in order to keep the line moving. 😅

Regarding weight, they don't weigh you, so go into the bathroom and put on all your clothes until you come in under the weight requirement. ;)

I’ve never seen wgt limits for carry on & personal item. I’ve seen it for size requirements. Where would it be on an airlines site?
@KRodCollective3 жыл бұрын
Hey Gina! Yes, honestly, it's not that common. I'm not sure which part of the world you're in, but you see it more in Europe-- or at least I have. And this is where I got the fee of $75. The US tends to be a bit more giving with their baggage rules and weight limits. You can find the weight and size requirements for an airline on their website under "bag info" or "baggage" or "travel info" or "baggage help". Stay tuned, cause I'll be going further into details on this in the next upcoming videos! 💕

@@KRodCollective thanks. huh..interesting. and FYI-after your explanation, i'm going to apply for the global tsa thing. while i'm not as frequent a traveler as i'd like, since it last 5yrs i think even if i just take one international trip (and several domestic) it'll be worth it. thanks for the info!!!!
