Just found your channel and love it! I am also team carry on. I roll my clothes with whole outfits. So I’ll roll a dress with my undies, bra and light jacket that I plan to wear together. I’m just now getting into packing cubes. I like to pack them by clothing item but still working out if I like it more than the rolling method.

If you roll your clothes put them in your case the other way. (Top to bottom). This uses the space between the handles.

Love it! Thank you for mentioning minimizing tech! Since my hubby and I have been traveling carry on only we ditched the bulky camera gear and use our phones instead. As you mentioned, thankfully, the cameras on our phones are fantastic and keep getting better;)

I'm flying for first time in October and have previously been a compulsive over packer. I have a small backpack I bought on Amazon for a personal item. Should work great, I practiced packing for a week long trip for next March and I think I can swing it!

Good tips! As a 6ft tall, plus size woman, I experimented with multiple techniques to accommodate my pants & shoe size. Pants are the worst because I can’t roll them without taking up all of the room in my suitcase. I fold them in half lengthwise and then place them inside the suitcase but with the legs coming outside. I rotate each pair so that all four sides have either the pant legs or the skirt out. Place the rolled items or even packing cubes inside the suitcase and then fold the pant legs over the top. I’ve even rolled the pant legs so that it covers the 4 sides (top) of the suitcase. It seems crazy but it does work really really well.

Not crazy at all; this is called bundle wrapping and it’s very effective, but you don’t hear about it much anymore (I guess because of the popularity of packing cubes.)

I've been using the rolling method ever since I knew it. It's a real hack! Just like the Carry on bag that I am using The Bento Bag from Nomad Lane, it has cool features that makes my travel easier and organized

Love this! If possible, I would LOVE for you to do a video for longer trips. I'm going to Italy for 6 wks and I'm pulling my hairs trying to go light, just carry on. I have weighted everything so far. I mean EVERY lil thing! As for toiletries, I'm taking mostly solids, few liquids. What to take? what not and buy there? argh! Help!! And thank you so so so much your tips!!

Wow girl! You are killing it. 6 weeks with just a carry on. That’s commendable!! That’s so fun! What part of Italy are you going to? That’s a great idea, I can def do that. Longer trip can be a bit more difficult to pack for, especially if you’re doing carry on only. With toiletries, I would definitely encourage bringing what you know you CANNOT get there. Hey Danielle! Yes! So, I don't know if you're into thrifted and gently used items. But I like to check out my local Goodwills and buy, sell, trade stores. Here are also a few other places I like to look for jumpsuits. These all vary in price. Mango, Zara, Free People, Aritzia, & Other Stories, Lulu's, ASOS, and Etsy. Keep an eye out for sales!! Hope this helps! 💕

Great summary, love your presentation, but all the cut-edits make it really hard to watch! It’s not a crime for the video to be a minute longer so your talking flows like a normal conversation with a little breathing room between the words - and makes it MUCH easier to watch.
