Thank you for this. It's good to have videos like this to help mentally prepare for where to go when arriving. Not travelling anywhere myself, but it's a strangely a fun video to watch, to live vicariously. As a note, I was last in Dubai International Airport in 2018, I was incredibly unwell (I lost consciousness due to a high fever - I had food poisoning from Paris I think) on my flight from Paris to Dubai. I had to be checked by medical staff before my next flight - the Dubai medical staff were amazing! I felt so, so safe and looked after. I was given an IV for fluids, wheelchair support, and driven to my next gate (after I was given the okay to fly). I was lucky to make my next flight, which was to my home city. I'd 100% fly via Dubai again, knowing their medical team are so well organised. :)

There are various terminals on different airports. And on dubai airport the terminal for the international flight is terminal 3. So your flight will land on the terminal 3 and you just need to follow the connection signs for your next flight and find that particular gate from where your next flight will depart. For the connecting flight you will need to check your flight gate no from those digital screens. And just follow the signs of gates on the boards. That's it

We transited Dubai on the 29th August at 2.30am as we were the last of the plane we made our way to where you checked the flights. As we are both in our 70s a man came along with a wheel chair and offered to take my wife to the Emirates lounge which he said was safer than out in the terminal. What a long walk, as we had a long time before the next connecting flight we stayed put in that lounge until the people came to take my wife back in the whell chair to board our flight a great service and I was at the front of the queue along with my husband so we boarded first, the man took me right to the aircraft door. Love flying with Emirates

No, you only go though security as you do not enter the country. Unless of course you chose to do so.

I'm looking at a flight that has a 1h 10m layover..I was hoping that was long enough to catch the connecting flight, but after watching this..I'm afraid that's not going to be long enough.. even though on the booking site says arrive at terminal 3 and leaves terminal 3.. that terminal is huge.. I am physically disabled and can't be walking that far between gates.

I am going to Montreal from Mumbai via Dubai by Emirates. Terminal T3. I have only two hours to catch connecting flight at Dubai. This is my first journey by air. Who will guide me there at Dubai to catch connecting flight. At Dubai my flight will land at T3. All journey is by Emirates only. How to reach to connecting flight gate. Is two hours sufficient? I heard people have to go by metro.

Look up "Dubai Connect". Emirates passengers with over 8 hours between connecting Emirates flights can book free stay in stopover hotel. We recently had 10 hours between flights and stayed in very comfortable Dubai International Hotel which is above concourses A,B & C in Terminal 3.

You can get it from Airport itself once you arrived. There is a counters.

@@user-oe4cm7gp5l Generally they issue transit visa more than 6 hrs layover you can get it through counters If you travel in Emirates it's free of charge if not there is a small fee. You can go out and roam dubai and come back to airport on your next flight time but i recommend this only who have more than 12hrs layover other wise stay airside and go with your flight. In your case 4 hrs layover don't need any transit visa stay Airside(Stay in airport) for your next flight. 🙌

When you are landing and just getting on a connected flight you don't go trough security a second time. You only go trough security in the airport where you get on the plan that lands in Dubei, after that you will stay in the "transit area" and therefor not go trough security again since you have already been checked.

If u remain at the airport, u don't need transit visa. Transit visa is needed if u visit the city and come back.
