Absolutely AMAZING, Alex. How many tins of JSB did you go through and how many air refills??? Talk about a target rich environment!! I'm so happy that your equipment was so sensitive to pick up the sounds of the bodies hitting the floor. Love your comment, Richard, I'm really glad you enjoyed the video that much 🙂 It was really a day to remember. It was almost a full tin for me - but that's 350 pellets, 25 gr JSB in .25. We estimate over five hundred kills that day between me and my buddy. We simply couldn't record them all. More coming soon, brother, next time I'll use a Pard 008. 1000's of pigeons! Now that's got to be month's of KZbin video's, does the owner pay for your pellets etc? I would love a Permission like that. But I'll settle for the next best... watching your video's. Take care my friend 👍😷👍

@@AirRifleActivities I would have thought that they would be begging you to get rid of the pigeons! A little appreciation goes a long way. Ungrateful pillocks they're nothing else (well I could call them worse but I would hate KZbin to get you for my 'fowl' language). They pay for nothing! That's how they make their money they don't spend it. They're getting a professional service you even clear up the carcasses at the end of the day. They were overrun with pigeons before you arrived, they should be paying for the pellets and your fuel to get their and back home at least. The vermin control companies would be charging them and not giving anywhere near the service that you offer! I would be tempted to Bury the dead pigeons under the corn on the last day of shooting lol. You must have a heart as big as a Lion, take care my friend.

@AirRifleActivities
@AirRifleActivities 3 жыл бұрын
Heh, buddy, I must say I like birds too. But these pigeons really pose a threat in those insane numbers. They contaminate the grain with their droppings; their very way of living makes it unsafe to have so many in a place where we store our food. That's why the owners want them gone and that's where we step in 😉 And believe me, no other ways of removing them worked - they tried.

Shooting at night you kill the most, because they do not fly up. I wish i had such a shootingrange in my neighbarhood. I would every week shooting with my "atn 4k x-sight" in the nights. And i never rest until the hall is empty. Such a chance is very rare. If you go again to this place, please name it ShooterRange. Keep cleaning and so long.

Your shooting hobby is guaranteed, pigeons are a renewable resource. If you think you've cleaned them out, just come back next year and start over again. I don't know what's more satisfying. The "thwack" of a solid body hit, or the deeper "thump" of the body hitting concrete from 40 feet up.........

Curious if y’all ever used the H&N Barracuda Hunters or Crow Magnums. In my SK-19 @880-900 FPS out to 60 yards they are very accurate and hit really hard often lifting and pushing the pigeons close to a foot. Less chance of them getting hung up on rafters or beams for knocking them backwards so hard. The expansion of the pellet is awesome also. Also…how many tins of pellets do y’all go thru each time y’all go there? God bless.
@AirRifleActivities
@AirRifleActivities 3 жыл бұрын
Hey, buddy, and thanks for your comment 🙂 I used go through several hundreds of pellets at the beginning. If you watch the beginning of my latest video you'll see that few pigeons are left at that place. And I guess for that reason the management is not too willing to let us in anymore. Will see. I haven't used the Crow Magnums.

Might have to go for a quieter gun, smaller caliber maybe, and lower power inside. Those guys in UK a limited to 11-14 ft lbs and they seem absolutely silent. Also there is a Australian guy that shoots the same way. That is another great permission you have, good for you, what a deal. Pouring buckets outside or typhoon winds, no problem just bring an air tank and lots of pellets oh and a bucket to help with the pickup disposal. Whoohoo !!! Great shooting. Remember to warm up before lifting those bags of dead pigeons so you don't pull a muscle. :)

It's always a hazard shooting firearms inside, Ian 🙂 A lot of equipment to get damaged, a lot of things can go wrong. And there's always the noise - there are other businesses nearby, not all of them agree to living in a shooting range 😉 They tried, it didn't work. Trust me, airguns are the best way to dispose of so many sky rats. Falcons can't cope with such great numbers. Non lethal ways are absolutely useless.

It's simple, Dave - the place has huge doors and they stay open when they load or unload huge amounts of grain. Also, they go under doors - I caught one stuck underneath a door, depicted in another video of mine. Andastly, they peck at windows. I couldn't believe it until I saw it.

This was awesome...but you are doing it wrong guys. Get yourself a hunting tent with a heater and a warm thermos of coffee maybe even some soup and a sandwiches as well. You can open the windows of the shooting tent and stay warm as your shooting! That would be great ...lol The birds would probably not retreat to the center as quickly either.
