You handled it very well, and it makes a very big statement packing your things and leaving the site. Poor performance with the staff just sitting outside rather than inside witness these things, and act upon then. I’ve travelled all over for sites, and there is always something that lets each of them down, and majority of these factors are the people that own/run them. Josh appreciate you for this comment a lot man. Its really not often I have done it but I just thought I was going to lose my cool and hurt someone, or someone was going to get hurt badly. Apparently the little “safe room” that was there someone went in gun up to clear it whilst someone was sat eating a choccy bar it was just a mess man. I was half tempted to not do a video or say anything because i hate being “THAT airsofter” but on the other hand theres a lot of youngens on my channels that I want to help develop the right behaviours for the future of airsoft, so highlighting poor sportsmanship is going to always and up being a part of that eventually! Sounds like a poorly put together field - a wasted opportunity, unfortunately. It’s good to shame people for their poor sportsmanship, but it shows you in a great light to show them cheating but not reacting to it. Myself and my team appreciate good sportsmanship like this, and so do a lot of people watching, and remember the people that are watching you maybe new to the sport, and you being the bigger man, highlighting and doing the right thing by walking away will help create a better future for Airsoft. As I mentioned before, keep it up, and looking forward to the next video!

Owners and staff won't police cheaters, you have to do it yourself with painful overshooting. It's to the point that if someone is openly cheating, I'm just going to invincibility charge them while firing until they make pain noises. I really don't care if the money collectors who won't police cheating kick me out. It's a game of honesty, you aren't making honest money running it this way.

This is my local sight, local members are amazing and we don’t get cheating from them. Unfortunately it seems to be outside players/rentals that cheat a lot. As you can see the sight isn’t massive but it would be impossible for refs to be able to watch the whole site. Plus a lot of rooms are too dark to be able to see cheating and putting lights inside would take away from the experience. It’s a lovely sight and I have fun every time I go.

thats crazy i've never seen this level of cheating, maybe because it was small numbers of people so you had no choice but to always run in to the cheaters, but wow. ive been airsofting for 2 years and have never experienced scenes like this.

It is rare if i’m honest dude it is rare. And like you say quite a small site with small numbers so amplified it easier. Not all were deliberate or malicious non hit taking. Sometimes people genuinely don’t know! Like a rucksack for instance. But yeah sussy day 😂

That's not an organizer, that's a guy who did paperwork to run an event to make a profit. He has one concern, the money. It could be all cheaters for all they care, as long as they have a shade tent and the insurance company doesn't have to be called they are good. Don't support these organizers. This game has passionate players we don't need make-a- buck surly money grubbers. It's bad enough 90% of places are identical, but at least there's solid proof of this one not deserving profits from players.

It really saddens me that the level of cheating is driving players away. There are variables in getting hit, but blatant cheating is just destroying the sport. It happens at all sites and a crackdown is needed. More marshals, checking video if necessary, listening to players and taking the issue more seriously. Unfortunately it's a few dishonest and toxic people's behaviour that quickly has an affect and spreads.

@13:00 It's just a horrible situation. One entrance, going from daylight to a dark room, multiple guys stood in adjointed rooms just holding that one opening. You can't get em with grenades, you have no chance to win a gunfight. Usually these situations end with the attacking team getting more and more frustrated until they just stop taking hits and rush in. It's bad map layout / game mode.

Proper sucky man. The only way to win is the last man pushing into the room so people can spawn in the room instead of back outside but it needs max aggression from everyone. No delays or stalling which is never likely!

The site looked really good but we had a very similar situation at Sparta when that was open. Group of regulars overkilling/not taking hits just ruining the day for everyone else attending. Shame as would love to play somewhere like this.

Im gald you call out people who run too hot. In my local fields here in Latvia, we have a 1.2/1.5J limits in cqb/outside. You truly feel when someone shoots too hot, and i had the unfortunate case of my first cqb game having someone shoot so hot, that the ricochet still felt stronger then direct hits from anyone else. The judge that day seemed apathetic at best. Thankfully, in my second game there, there were a completely new SET of judges (multiple, not one like then), and when my team called out one guy for shooting too hot, he was angry for being called out, but did come out saying he was shooting 2.6J after re-chronoing. I apologized, but i couldnt stay quiet after that first game if i knew someone was doing it dirty. Many people dont understand this about airsoft, probably bcuz they dont even play it and just watch it on youtube like it was CoD or BF, but its a real game, a sport, and you need to respect eachother. Thats why shooting too hot isnt just a pain problem, its a sportsmanship problem. Imagine, if striking shins in soccer wasnt forbidden, and the players simply started intentionally kicking eachother there. Soon, they would instead forfeit bcuz they couldnt tolerate the pain anymore. Its infinitently more true in airsoft, where pain is the main way to admit defeat, and if you inflict too much pain, players will just leave. It truly baffles when people complain that "if you dont wanna get shot, dont play", like in that loser's KM comments, its almost like they never played airsoft themselves and dont know how much it hurts. I got the same kinds of bruises like you in the video, and they fucking hurt. If anyone thinks thats ok, they are an asshole. Sidenote: in that first cqb game, they guy who shot too hot got me from behind, and because of all the ricochet that day, i didnt react at first and simply looked back. There i saw him, but i didnt know what team he was, so i asked clearly "Hey, are you orange (my team). Obv, he didnt respond, and shot me point blank in the chest. It hurt, a fuckton. Bitch, if u dont wanna talk, at least shoot at my feet. What an asshole.

@@Orange_Spartan its not as bad as you think, as long as i have neck protection and eye protection i could eat anything. i will admit tho when i was younger and knew nothing about airsoft i would go to this giant indoor cqb field 2 hours away from where i live, and when i checked my gun in for fps it had to be set at 400, but like my gun was not good at that setting, so when the games started i would bump it up to 450-460 and my gun would shoot more accurate, other than that i always called my hits and never went full auto, no use lieing to a field owner theyre always respectful, provide excellent service, and have awesome raffles, and givesaways and do alot for the airsoft community. whoever threw that grenade at that guys head and didnt say anything is a coward. craziest thing i ever saw is this one field i played at had a go kart with a Gatling gun on the back, and some idiot driving it came around a hot corner and clipped some little kid on purpose driving through the field and the kids dad actually ended up getting physical with the driver, and the driver ended up getting arrested and banned for life from all fields in california, all in all just be honest, respectful and safe, its the idiots that ruin it for all the good honest players out there, and also its very therapeutic for alot of veterans

I wouldn’t class myself as an expert on the subject of Gas etc but did run gas for a while! In my experience the weather could make it very inconsistent particularly the cold. C02 I have been told doesn’t have the same inconsistencies so may be a better option. My personal opinion on starters though would be to go for a specna arms edge 2.0 series aeg/rifle/smg style over pistols. So many people start with a pistol and just struggle getting the range and inconsistent feeding then go back to renting. Best thing would be to try a few rental days see what style you like with their kit maybe you want similar size or smaller then go from there!! Hope this helps

@@SonOfTheDevil666 aeg sounds can be annoying thats true maybe a nice halfway point is an Electric Blow Back. Theyre aegs but having moving parts so make a nicer sound. Worth thinking about. Look up BBCarty he does a series on the Noveske MWS which is quite a cheap gas gun hes doing well this month using it in freezing cold temps! The pressurised bottles on the back and the guns that go with them are called HPA but they are expensive 😃

Our field used to have a player marshall who if you didn't call your hits would join your game and just wait to see if someone really isn't calling hits and if they weren't calling them he would target them for the rest of the game and just ruin them

Player marshals are interesting concepts. From my experience they have sometimes been quite biased to people they see regularly and are friends with which can set a bad tone for a site. Be interested to know how it runs there!

They threw a tag grenade off the roof onto someones head and arm where it went off on them. And nobody would own up

Me and my friends played there a couple years ago and we all agreed that it was the worst day of airsoft we've ever had been playing for like 6 years now at many sites and never experienced players like the ones there that day. Most of whom told us that's their local site they play every weekend. And the marshalls were also the worst we'd ever encountered, though those weren't the same marshals that are in this video. Site is awesome. People were shit

Sorry about your experience man. I found the marshals there that day to be very professional and kind. But as you say it’s dictated by how the players are and sadly some of the members that day fell a bit short

@@Orange_Spartan thats good to hear cause the marshalls we had that day all stood along the fence at the back just chatting with eachother and not supervising the games at all and I mean they were standing at that fence when all the action was happening inside and in the bunkers on the otherside. They had no idea what was going on and didn't seem to care either. Shame though cause with they right people that place would be epic.

There’s a new site great yarmouth which is a large indoor CQB that looks pretty good although never been. Level 2 in birmingham which is a lot further away looks sweet too! I've never played airsoft but the principle is the same in paintball and when people don't call their hits it really pisses me off. For that reason I don't play anymore because I'm not paying a fortune just for some dickhead to not play properly.

typical cheater play someting outdoor . live action role play. lots of player dont take hits or track their HP. everyone had different health pool so good luck tracking every1 health. i was a paladin full leather armour n helmet 22hp+ n trading hit w a tshirt n n short running around w sneaker Max i give him 8-12hp no way he outlast a fight

Yeah airsoft is a game of fairness and honesty so when people don't take their hits or break rules or fiddle with their hpa to hit harder over more distance(endangering peoples safety) it annoys me..
