This is the classic ideology that the people fighting for the little guy are the problem, when as you said, his goal is to educate, and protect the freedoms we could lose at ANY moment. JStark isn't out to weaponize civilians to lead them on a rampage. He is interested in arming these civilians to protect themselves, because no one else will be protecting them, but themselves. The questions he kept asking, over and over, to "make his point" were from the viewpoint and mindset of a person who believes his government has his best interests in mind, when that is FAR from the truth. This is the brainwashing BS that people have been gobbling up forever. Our Governments only protect us "on the surface" , while in reality, they are working behind the scenes to strip us of whatever free choices we have left. JStark said it well, when he said that in an instant, if the Government (any Government BTW, not just one singled out entity) decides to take away a certain freedom, they will do it, with or without your consent. Something that was once taken for granted could / will be just taken from you. Don't like it? Tough shit... deal with it. This is what JStark is standing against, not arming the masses for death and destruction.

It wouldn't be. Because he didn't want to be political, and without politics there's no centralized definition of what "free" means. @Gus Bandersnatch socialist feds? Do some research Socialism:a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. Federalism is a type of government in which the power is divided between the national government and other governmental units. It contrasts with a unitary government, in which a central authority holds the power, and a confederation, in which states, for example, are clearly dominant. A federal republic is a federation of states with a republican form of government. At its core, the literal meaning of the word republic when used to reference a form of government means: "a country that is governed by elected representatives and by an elected leader rather than by a king or queen"

His only mistake was talking to popular front. From the article: "The raid on JStarks home was sparked by a confidential report by the German Federal Office of Criminal Investigation (it is not clear how this “confidential report” made its way into Spiegel’s hands) showed that German authorities received a message from England last December regarding “a man in Germany who is maybe manufacturing and spreading 3d printed firearms.” Investigators tracked down 28-year old Jacob D. where a special commando team raided his flat and searched the entire place. The search turned up nothing illegal nor were any firearms found at his apartment." Who else?
