So if i have a pistol with a positive 14mm threaded barrel this will work? Basically this has the ability to fit both a negative and positive 14mm barrel?

can this tracer unit be positioned anywhere inside the silencer housing by moving the foam inserts to either end or is there some sort of ridge the tracer unit rests on that prevents it from being moved forward or backward? I have a extended inner barrel that sticks out about 2.5" that i would like to cover and put a tracer unit on the end of it
