I had fun flying this model last week at Port Meadow but I couldn't trim out a nodding stall to the glide even after moving the CG a long way forward. After a lot of help from the Hippocketeronautics community, particularly Jon Whitmore I have moved the CG back to just behind the indicated point on the plan. This produced a more floaty glide but clearly it was still easily upset so the tail incidence was reduced by 1/32" this improved things but it still balloons up very easily . A small movement forward to the CG and I have a glide with some penetration which I think will be useful in anything but flat conditions. It obviously took a lot more than 3 flights to do that. Further checking revealed the CG is pretty much where indicated on the plan. I had in my defence completely I have changed the wing section but .... moral of the story - read the instructions !!!
