Hi, loved this video, one comment, I believe the name of one of the trailer is "Trade Wind" not "Trade Winds" It's confusing when the plural is used. I did not hear Joe saying "Flying Clouds".

Great explanation - not for me, but I understand the Trade Wind a lot better now.

I live in MN. Typically, we'd remove batteries for seasonal outdoor storage. How does that apply to the TW?
@colonialairstreamАй бұрын
On the trade wind the internal bms and battery heaters would keep them warm over the winter month, so removing and storing the batteries would be unnecessary.

Love the riveroak color. Do like being able to run A/C on solar but can it run it 24/7 along with frig lights water?

Thank you for your comment! We love the Riveroak color too-it’s a fan favorite! As for running the A/C on solar, while it’s possible to run it for short periods, running it 24/7 along with other appliances like the fridge, lights, and water pump would quickly deplete the batteries. One approach to maximize its use is to run the A/C for a couple of hours at a time to cool the cabin, then rely on insulation to maintain the temperature while the solar system replenishes the batteries. Pairing this with energy-efficient practices and additional battery capacity can extend your off-grid comfort. Let us know if you have more questions! 😊
