Airstream Tour 2024 Flying Cloud 30 Foot Front Bed Twin Office - Colonial Airstream

We couldn't be in New Jersey and not stop by Colonial Airstream! While we were there we got to take a peek at the new Trade Wind, a beautiful 30 foot Classic and a 20 foot Basecamp. We also got to see our current favorite, the 2024 Flying Cloud 30 foot Front Bed Twin.
We had been planning the stop for a long time, and were especially excited about a 2023 Office model they had on site... unfortunately they sold it right before we got there. :(
Colonial Airstream has so many amazing rigs on site, the most adorable gift shop, and their staff are friendly with no sales pressure... to an extreme!
We heard the infamous Patrick Boticelli was on site, but we didn't have time to search him out while we were there.
We justified it with the old adage "never meet your heros". ;)
Maybe next time, Patrick.
We're ready for a drier cliimate! Still don't understand how Easterners deal with the humidity!

Kevin is great, worked with us on getting a used 2017 International 30 at the start of the year. We spent time with him 6 months prior while checking out demo units on their lot and made sure to work with him when we wanted to see the unit we eventually bought. Like you said, Colonial is a no pressure dealer. None at all. We went there at least 5 times prior to buying our unit and never had sales reps hounding us. That's one of the many things we loved about Colonial. I talked with Patrick on a visit a few years ago, decent guy but Kevin was more in-line with me and my wife. My neighbor had Patrick as their salesman on their 2020 Classic 30 and were happy with how things went.

Patrick is the best! We bought Hobbes from him last year. 2023 FL 28 RBT - Love it! This year we will properly christen with a trip to Lake Michigan 🎉 and hopefully quite a few other trips. Yes! RV drive through for Coffee and Snacks is a MUST! I hope that model AS is in your future - I know that it’s hard to work and Stream you have helped us realize we need to take it slow and steady with the telework and connectivity issues. Even a few trips a year will be wonderful. Hope all is well and you can meet the legend Patrick someday. 😊 You guys are so funny

I really think the RV capable drive-through could work... at least it would for us! LOVE the office floorplan. It really would make life (or at least work) easier for us road warriors. Thanks for following along on our travels~ ~D

We went from a 25 Foot Sideways queen bed to a 30 Foot Classic Twin Bed model. We love the twin beds - much more storage both inside and outside and the room between the beds makes it so nice if one of you need to get up a night to go to the bathroom.

I know people do the sideways bed, or even smaller, but I don't think I could for very long. Has to be a lot more room and luxury for you to move into a 30' Classic! Very nice! ~D

It is, but we expect that with a 30 foot home on wheels. :) We like the idea of having a space to work, have meetings, etc that isn't in the middle of the main living area. Makes it easier for meetings and working and such. ~D

Yes, the 25 and 27 foot FC front bed models have a standing desk. Seems Airstream is doing a decent job of adapting to Airstreamers' changing needs. :) ~D
