yes you can. however i recommend to fire the gun while doing so to releive the pressure in the reg

Are red dot sights not a thing in airsoft? I notice a lot of these builds are still using irons.

A red dot is more for milsim/outdoor, these builds are made for speed and you dont have time to run around aiming your red dot sight indoor

Most speedsoft builds have tracers on them, so the bbs glow as they’re shot out of the gun. Like a laser beam. So there’s no need to have a red dot
