I go to the Okanagan almost every summer and one of my highlights is watching the water bombers at that airport. I was there once and Conair had a BAe-146.

The BAe 146 is a pretty rare sighting in Penticton. Most the time it's the Convairs, Electras or the AirTractors.

Yes indeed it was. I was a teen the last time I flew into Penticton on a 37. My Dad flew for them and landed all over the Southern interior. Casltegar,Cranbrook are some notable runways he commented on.

Interesting. I just met a retired pilot two days ago who said that he flew the PWA 737 into Penticton all the time.

Penticton which is about 45 min from Kelowna or about 3.5 hrs north east of Vancouver on Okanagan lake.. Great airport, love landing there.
