Emirates' old economy seats are still comfortable; it's just the IFE screen is dated. For such a long flight, having a free row was brilliant!

That was. Nice trip ❤❤❤ it seems that this particular aircraft has not been refurbished since its first flight. I flew with EK way back 2012 and they already have this type of seat and IFE. Unlike the A380s and the newer B77Ws they have their latest seats and IFE installed. Anyway, still looking good for a 16+ year old aircraft. :-) you’re lucky to have 2 seats empty. :-) ❤❤

I can't sit in economy for 14 hours because of bad back and knee problems,so i have to fly BC,Emirates FC/BC are very expensive,although i realize the service is very good..
